I just started this link, but I figured GM truck fans here might also be interested too.
 
As I mentioned in the link, the cabs are from the full-size "G" vans, and not the Silverado, which leads me to wonder...
 
Why didn't GM also do this with their just-released HD 2500/3500 models—that is, use the larger, taller cab from from the "G" models instead of the cab from the 1500/2500 Silverado? In doing so, the 2500HD/3500 models would be more visually distinctive from the lighter duty 1500/2500s, much in the same way the Ford Super-Duty pickups are from the F-150s.
