My '94 Camaro (Z28) had the 5.7L LT1. It never knocked or used oil. My '99 1500 Z71 5.3L didn't either. My current Durmax diesel is a year old, never back to the dealer except for oil changes, flawless. My biggest concern; when Bilstein is going to come out with some shocks for the 2500HD?

I guess when there's enough of them around to justify the R&D and manufacturing setup costs....

A friend of mine has a '93 or '94 2500 with 6 lug wheels.He pointed this out to me when I got the HD.I figured this was the most likely reason for long stopping distances in bama's review without even considering his track record on representing facts.Maybe someone's been telling stories?My 2500HD stops just fine even with 3000lb in the back. kip

I don't doubt it. The pre '99s also used drum brakes in back. And some of those earlier C/K 2500s are hard to tell apart from the 1500s.

Found some for the 2500HD on the shockwarehouse.com site. Funny thing, when searching the Bilstein site, couldn't find anything related to the 2500HD.

try http://www.offroadwarehouse.com Cheapest place other than autozone i could fine em for Quad are you ordering the seat covers? They take some time to get if you are having htem embroidered

Did you ever find a 3" lift kit?I know Trailmaster makes a 6" lift and with it you can use up to 35" tires.You can go up to 33" without lifting,what size tires do you want? kip
