Typically, they're financing is lower than commercial (unless it's manufacturer sponsored). Just got my VIN the other day. Now I wait 8-20 days for delivery. Like you, want to make sure I've lined up the lowest financing that's available. Good luck with the close. The finance guy told me that the lowest available rate from Honda (excluding the 2.9% deal) is 4.3%. Community Credit Union is 4.5%.   I was just checking to see if the finance guy was being forthright and if anyone got a better Honda finance deal (recently) on a Honda.

Replying to: roni (Apr 24, 2005 7:47 am) I don't think they allow naming the individual salesperson on this board. The dealership was Honda of Seattle.   As far as price comparison, yes I did plenty. I sent offers to about 15 dealers at Inovice +1,000. Got a few counter offers back at invoice + 2,000. Sent out a second batch of offers to different dealers at invoice + 1,600 and actually had a dealer accept that offer but I would have had to wait 30-60 days for delivery. Ended up going to Seattle at invoice + 2,000 with a car being delivered this week.   I think this was a fair deal all around. They make money, I pay a fair price and get the car in the short term.   But definately check around. Most dealers were trying to stick to MSRP +/- 500.

I just talked to an internet sales manager for an ex, silver for invoice+1000 or $26881. Is this a good price in the bay area? Are there any posters who had experienced a better deal? This dealer is concord honda.   thanks in advance.

Yesterday afternoon we took delivery of a 2005 Odyssey Touring with NAV/RES in Slate Green / Olive. It was delivered on a flat-bed truck directly to my house with just 5 miles on it. Price was $36,200 or roughly $37,600 including taxes, title, tags, etc.. Anyone in the DC area looking for an Odyssey should talk to Pohanka Honda in Salisbury, MD
