If you're willing to drive a couple hours to SC, I can give you a name of a very good salesman that may be able to help you with your price.

That is great to hear and means the competition among Columbus dealers is heating up. It seems that with the opening of the store in Marysville and (apparently) some changes going on a Immke, it's never been a better time to shop for an Odyssey in Central Ohio.

Hi all...I'm in central Delaware and looking to by the midnight blue EX-L w/RES ODY. I dont see too many of them just sitting on the lots so I was wondering if the good deals I see in this forum come from buying whats on the lot or do the dealers cut good deals if you order it?? Thanks

I bought an Odyssey EX-L RES for 28986 + 100$ doc fee in MA but the car has manufacture date of Dec 04. Is there sommething suspicious? The dealer doesn't know exact miles as it is on their remote lot as they don't have lot of space in Downtown Boston. Dealer says it could have upto 60-70 miles. Looks to me that they had a car which they can't sell it at their sister dealerships... Anything I should look for before I take delivery...

I purchased an EX-L with Nav from an Atlanta dealer yesterday for $32,741 (total before sales tax). The sales manger insisted this was below his cost and I honestly think they would have been happy to walk away from the deal and sell it to someone else. By my cal. they made at least $1,400 over invoice (before consideration of holdback) but maybe there has been a price/cost change.

Atlanta is a very tight market and it would not surprise me if dealers are trying to squeeze in even more profit.

Atlanta EX-L Thanks to Twin City Motors in Beaumont TX by mratl

I was willing and ready to buy a car when work took me to TX next week and drive back to Atlanta. Within two emails I got a price from Twin City Motors that was $500 less than the lowest Atlanta dealer. Please look up Internet manager at this dealership outside of Beaumont, TX - he was prompt and to the mark.

Curry Honda in Atlanta matched Twin City's bid though and I bought the car last night. I was ready to banish Atlanta forever. (for gauger01 - I was going to try Dick Brooks Honda in Greer, SC but they sold all their EX-L's that evening and wouldn't get any more for 20-30 days). Here's the final deal:

Base with Dest: 27,922
Doc. Fee: 398
Window Etch: 199 (suprise add-on but i was shooting for OTD price I got from TX)
Tax: 1990
Tag: 21
Out the Door: 30,530

By the way - in case you were wondering, Gwinnet Place Honda and Team Honda raised their bids on me and, in the end, were a waste of time. Nalley didnt have the car on the lot and Sunny King in Anniston, AL was too slow to respond to get my business.

Good luck to all - I need to catch up on all the work I neglected now.

We are not overly thrilled with the dealer as they tried to talk us into a color we did not want, but we have an order in on EX-L Sage Green Pearl with Olive Leather and we are paying $28000 even including dest. charge of $515. Also includes NW protection accessories of mud guards, all-season mats, and cargo tray (behind third seat). We are paying an additional $595 for fog lights, and $218 for title/registration (even though it should only be $168 if we do it through DMV on our own.

I think we got a very good deal.
