| I just drove 350 miles to pick up my SS Ex with Nav from Vandergriff Honda in Arlington (between Fort Worth and Dallas). Paid 500 off MSRP, no glass etching, no poly raz-ma -taz, no required add ons. I added leather for 1300 and extra tint on front windows for 100. Salesman was Ken See. Very good experience. Jbs | |

I'm new to the board. I notice some refer to their Oddys as AS ES and SS EX. What do the "AS" and the "SS" stand for? Thanks |

So the first week of March is not a realistic date? If this is the case then I'm calling the dealer and removing my deposit. I was hoping that once the allocations were given then it was a matter of the factory delivering the van. I was not aware the van still had to go into production. This waiting is a joke. Honda is holding its customers hostage. I may just go and look into a Sienna, at least they have vans for immediate delivery. thanks for the info |

SS stands for Satin Silver. I don't know what AS means either |
|
| AS is a typo for SS starlight silver. | |

I just put a deposit on a Mesa Beige EX (non Navi) for April delivery. Added a cassette player and cargo tray. Thinking about mud guards. Are they useful? Anything else I will regret not getting? Appreciate any advice. SM |

| Odd 1 is right, the spell check changed my SS to AS (and it is Starlight Silver). I think mud flaps are worth a few extra bucks to keep those fenders clean, reducing the frequency and need for washing. You can save $20 if you buy them after-market (online or otherwise) and install them yourself. That said, I think your MB and my SS are good colors for not showing light colored road grime as quickly. | |
| I followed Joe's lead and got the warranty from Jeff Klotz at First Texas Honda for $925. Piece of cake! I had wanted to buy it from Dennis at Jay Honda since he was so straight up during my EX-Nav negotiations, but his finance mgr wouldn't go below $1050. If you have a new Ody and want the warranty, with ease, call Jeff at 512-458-2511. I live in California, got the car from Ohio and the warranty from Texas, and saved $$$. Isn't the internet great? | |
| gjk_stl (message # 848): You mentioned $100 coupon for purchasing before March 5th. Where can I get it in St. Louis? I am expecting my odyssey by end of Feb. | |
| Got my Ex yesterday from Alton Blakely Honda, Somerset, KY. Had to wait for 2-3 weeks. Everybody at Alton Blakely Honda was really nice, and very straight forward. Dealt with Shawn Franklin (sales man). The trip back to Atlanta was rainy and so a little long but was happy to get it done the right way. Got 7yr/100k/0 Deductible Honda Care from them for $875. So, that's good too. Paid $26340 + 299 (Cassette player) + 100 (wheel locks and cargo tray). They put mud guards for free. No destination charge or doc fee. | |
