I have not yet decided on any dealer installed extras or extended warranty at this time, if so that would of course add to the cost. Dealer is Jack-o-Diamonds in Tyler, TX. I got my quote thru e-mail from them. I simply requested that they send me their best quote on the vehicle and that it was a cash deal (going thru my bank)and no trade in and ready to buy within a week or two and thats the quote they e-mailed me back. No haggleing back and forth. It was far better than anything else I found in my area (TX)so I jumped right on it. I believe my price was quoted right before the price hike just recently. Also I had to e-mail them a couple times with my request before they responded. Good luck, slyk

Replying to: madabout1269 (Feb 28, 2005 7:55 pm) They basically said they couldn't do much better than MSRP minus "a few hundred dollars" for an EX-L NAV/RES. If I'm willing to drop the NAV requirement, the price would be closer to invoice + $1000 or so (we weren't actually haggling -- I was just trying to get a feel for how far apart we'd be). At this point I'm probably going to start shopping around (e.g. via the internet), possibly looking at neighboring states / outside of the DFW area. For some reason I really *want* to have the NAV (I certainly don't *need* it though ) but I'm not sure how easy it will be to get a hold of one... ETA

I have been trying to get pricing for Tourings and EX-L with DVD and Navi for the Bay Area (and really any part of Northern CA) and the lowest I got for Tourings is $38,810 which is above MSRP. Any suggestions from those in this area and where you were able to find a good deal. Thanks in advance - feel free to e-mail directly.

Replying to: dfw_ody (Mar 01, 2005 8:39 pm) I am also planning to buy an LX and not sure what the right price is since most of the post here are for EX. It appears you got a good deal. What are the add ons you have on your vehicle. I would appreciate if you can send me the buyers order since the dealers here in AZ need that in order to match the price. I can provide my email if you are planning to send. Thanks LX
