Picking up my vehicle Thursday at David McDavid Houston EXL-RES Slate Green $29,972 Tax/Fees and the typical BS fees Out the Door $32,107 Picked a vehicle they had coming in Price includes Window tint, Mud Flaps Probably could have saved $200 more if I pushed the issue. The sticker on the window includes recent price increase. |

Thanks to all who posted such helpful info. I purchased an 05 Ody LX this weekend, after shopping around (as far as 150 miles or so). We wanted a color that was hard to find, but were able to get one right off the truck when one finally arrived. My experience: Vandergriff Honda - internet/fleet sales. Contrary to another post, I was able to do all of my negotiations over the phone (probably since we live an hour away) and my salesperson was very nice, helpful and up front throughout the entire process. We exchanged many phone calls and finally agreed to a driveout price of $25,200 (including TTL) before we ever met in person. When our Ody arrived, it had the $200 markup in MSRP, but negotiations were done based on old invoice price. Vandergriff internet/fleet sales was a pleasure to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer others. David McDavid of Frisco - we may have bought here if they could have found the color we wanted, but it didn't work out. They were willing to match and/or possibly beat other offers. Also up front and low pressure. McKinney Honda - would not recommend at all. After contacting internet sales who would not give me a price over the phone, I went there and waited a long time (on a weekday afternoon in an almost empty showroom). After I stated the prices I had been quoted elsewhere, they did not even want to talk. Apparently they don't sell to informed, internet buyers. I was disgusted that they wouldn't even give me the time of day, but that's their choice. I won't be sending any business their way. In general, LXs are not in demand and therefore you should be able to get a good deal on them, especially if you are looking for anything other than midnight blue or silver colors, since there are plenty of other colors in stock.

Replying to: jeezaloo (Mar 01, 2005 4:04 pm) The "out of the door" price with everything was about $29300. I live in Nashville, and they even delivered the car to my home (230 miles from the dealership). I would highly recommend them to anybody. I also tried to buy an extended warranty from Pohanka. I have sent them my info but have not got any reply yet, and they did increase the price. The 7/75000 costs $845 now. |

I've seen two different dealer invoice costs: $27034 and $27548/27550 Anyone have the scoop on which is accurate OR do you have the actual dealer invoice? Thanks from ATLANTA...any leads on GA dealers also much appreciated.
