Price of EX-L with Nav/Res by remax

Just purchased EX-L with Nav/Res for $1000 below MSRP at Friendly Honda in Utica, MI (Detroit Metro area). Interest was 4.19%. Found that the lease rate and interest can be played with by the dealers. You have to hackle to get best rate and price. They normally offer $500 off for Sam's and Costco Members. Great van! Two problems though- driver door does not close properly and aux input to dvd does not play video.

Anyone has good experience with Honda dealers in Metro D.C. area? I have 05 Odyssey EX-L in mind and had contacted a few local dealers. But none of them would be willing to go below MSRP. Some of them even claimed that there was a waiting list.

Any information would be appreciated!

Just bought an '05 EXL w/NAV&DVD plus mudguards and crossbars for $35450 O.T.D. at Robertson Honda in North Hollywood with interest rate of 3.9% for 5 years from Pentagon Federal Credit Union. With the high demand in socal area I only
got it at around $1300 above the invoice.

Thanks EDMUNDS.COM

A waiting list??? That's a riot! Do yourself a favor and buy outside the DC area. You can buy Ody for $2,000-$3,000 under MSRP by driving 2-3 hours away.

Robertson Honda in North Hollywood.I had a good experience with my salesman but not with the Sales Manager on our first visit. After 1 week my salesman called with my offer and the color I like arrived but while were there the Sales Manager was saying it again he can't give it that cheap and all sales pass thru him but my salesman told him bluntly that the GENERAL SALES MANAGER approved it.

I guess I have a little belief now that salesmen are pro-customer that they are there to present your best offer.

Again Thanks Edmunds.com, I won't have got it at this excellent $35450 O.T.D. price for a '05 Odyssey EXL w/ NAV&DVD plus mud guards and crossbars if not for you.

Enjoy your new car! I am looking for the same model too. What's O.T.D. mean? Thanks!
