It is virtually impossible to get the trim line you want (EX-L RES+NAV) at invoice with the current market conditions. If you are willing to travel some distance (or get the car shipped) you might get a price close to invoice (inv+500to1500). The midwest appears to have the best pricing. If you need the van in a month or two it would be harder to land a deal close to invoice. If you have not done so, go back to the postings from the past few weeks. Several dealer names have been floated here and you might want to start calling them and see what kind of response you get. |

Replying to: ispy (Nov 18, 2004 12:29 pm) Bedard Bros. in Cheshire and Honda North in Danvers were $27,510.00. These are internet quotes. I have let them all know that I have a better offer. Some have budged and others not at all. I haven't gotten down to business yet. Still comparing to Sienna LE w/ BZ pkg. I've had a quote of $26,995.00 on the Sienna. Decisions decisions. I'll probably make my final decision |

My wife and I put a deposit on a Nighthawk Black EX-L NAVI/RES at a dealer outside of DC back in Sept and were told that we could expect the vehicle in 4-6 weeks. Two weeks ago I was told that the vehicle we ordered had a VIN and that typically vehicles are delivered 2 weeks after the VIN is assigned. Today I was told that the dealer is trying to make a trade with another dealership for the vehicle that we want and hopes to have it by the third week in Dec. Out of frustration my wife contacted another dealer who says that according to Honda there are only three Black EX-L NAVI/RES allotted to the DC area in the coming months; one, supposedly ours, going to the dealer holding our deposit. My wife was also told that these vehicles are not scheduled to be made until the second week of Jan 2005 so delivery would be in Feb at the earliest. Has anyone else been having a similar experience? |

| Yep, that's a quote I got. Another quote was 35,000 and another is 38,000. And all from dealers with in 60 miles of each other. | |

| I purchased a Silver Pearl with Grey Leather EX-L from Honda Cars of Rock Hill in SC. I haggled a little, but they were not willing to move much. I ended up paying $30,000 ($810 below MSRP), but they "threw in" wheel locks and splash guards. They showed me the inventory list that they were expecting at their dealership, and there were only 5 more in that color coming in over the next two months (remember, almost all Auto makers shut down for two weeks around Christmas). I was not willing to wait any longer, so I bought it right away and took delivery. It is definitely worth the wait if you choose, but in the end, if you gotta have it, get it!!!! | |
