good condition, has power sliding doors, power seats, cd, alloy wheels, privacy glass, roof rack beside the standard features, 42k miles.

Kelly's blue book says trade in 16200 and private party 18400. However, Edmunds says that trade-in is 15100, and private party is 16300. Which one is more accurate?

Kelly's blue book also states the wholesale/retail breakdown is 18375 and 22525 respectively.

So I am a bit confused on which one to use? The seller has agreed to somewhere around 17500, is this a good deal? It doesnt' have any warrenty left.

This is around San Franciso, ca.

thanks.

The important thing is do you think it's a good deal to sell it at $17,500?

Does the $1085 include any deductible. The best I have found here in Virginia is $1210. I am going to purchase it soon because we have the Touring with Navi/DVD...with 3 doors that are automatic I am sure one of them will malfunction at least!!!!!

Used Odysseys get crazy money. Try asking over in Real-World Trade-In Values for yet another opinion.

Browse the discussion a bit to get a feel for all the info you need to give Terry and the gang for a quick response.

You may be happy with the number now, but there's no use leaving money on the table for the dealer if you can help it.

What a joke! Not funny to you. I just ordered from Bedard Bros in Mass a touring with Nav. Thanks to this forum I will save $3k, compared to the dealers in Northern NJ who at best will give me $-300 to $-1000 off.

I was going to purchase another GC from dodge until I drove the touring. What a difference! They have to knock off $10K to sell the GC to me. Then I would still have to think about it. Considering our 98 GC has 115K with a new tranny, fuel pump and just recently a new water pump installed. Anyway good luck finding a lower price. They are out there.

Apparently all this references to Bedard Bros has resulted in them being swamped with calls from out of state buyers. I just called and the internet salesman said let me guess, "Edmunds, right." He was busy with several customers but will come me back shortly. Hopefully, this $3K off MSRP is a reality and I can have something shipped post haste. Wish me luck.

Good! I'm glad they're being swamped, especially if it results in actual sales for them. Seems to me like a business owner's dream. And, I'm glad he knows where the word is being spread - we sure like it when good dealerships get business from the word of mouth spread by our great members!

Hopefully this dealer's sales are way down with this attitude. However, I am still getting quotes well over MSRP (Hollywood Honda "special internet price of $1200 over MSRP". But, just today I got my first $1000 under MSRP quote from a Southern California dealer in the LA area. As soon as I complete the deal, I will post the dealer name.
