I quit looking and took possession of the Slate Green EX-L. I ordered in August when the color charts came out. Once again for the seventh year in a row I paid MSRP I wish I had known about the Edmunds forumns a few years ago. Boy when I go in to the dealer for my 2006 and he offers me MSRP again will he be shocked when I suggest a price much lower than what I have been paying. I always thought MSRP was a fair price. Boy what an education this forumn has given me.I will go to Tennessee or even Mass. to try and get a deal like psuwife (Post #6527) got for her 05.I will visit the grandchildren while up there also so I will try to kill two birds with one stone.Dex what dealer in Tenn. do you know who has a good price on their Odys?

After the initial rush of "must have" buyers...inventory is beginning to build. Dealer's are beginning to break MSRP(offer discounts). The best deals are on the Touring without NAVI/DVD. Socal dealers seem to have plenty of non-NAVI models. Tourings w/NAVI&DVD are available. EXL's with N/D are least common as we all figured. Inventory is building fast so there will be no 1999-2000 pricing. Prices will drop with each new shipment as more and more units remain unsold at MSRP and above. Interestingly Sienna seems to sell to "toyota faithful" as Ody seems to sell to "honda faithful" in the main. Sienna is also keeping the pressure on for Ody prices to drop! |

We will be leasing, and I notice that each dealer is also playing with the money factor and residual amount. The Northern California dealer I mentioned earlier wants to give me a higher money factor and a lower residual than the local dealer, so the monthly payment gap is not as extreme.

He said they could send it on a trailer. He even offered to meet us half way from his dealership. We want to make sure that all goes well and preferred that we meet him in Cheshire and pay him the full amount for the exact van that we had ordered. The price on the purchase order is $35,558.
