Hi, I have been reading messages in this forum but have not seen any regarding experiences in Central New York (Upstate NY) area. Am almost ready to buy an 05 EX-L and hope to get one with Redrock Pearl color. Deals nearby sell at MSRP. Anyone has any experiences or recommendations on pricing? Also I am open for Internet purchase. Any comments on Internet experience are welcome too.

Have not read anything from anyone in this area. I have done my research and reading for the past 2 months and am just about ready to pull the trigger. Going to buy touring with NAVI & RES but trying to find a dealer who will give $1000-1500 off MSRP, best I have been able to negotiate so far is full sticker with $400-$600 in accessories at no charge. I am located north of Boston |

Took a test drive of a Touring Navi. Was told that any Odyssey could be built within 3 weeks. Garden State offered MRSP-750 on EX Navi without any other apparent unusual charges. Is there any way to get Navi without the rear DVD> |

I've had 3 dealers offer sticker price plus a discount on the tow package ($980 instead of 1200+) for either an EX or EXL. Has anyone found any Northern California dealers willing to going less. Any one have experience / advice for towing (tent trailer) on an 05 Odyssey? |

On Sept. 22 I emailed lots of dealers in Washington. I thought the Seattle area would offer me the best deal. Not even close. Try Moses Lake! Initially my best offer was $200 under from Spokane, but even with a dealer trade he couldn't get the vehicle I wanted until late November. The next day I heard back from Moses Lake, offering $500 under with delivery in October. The internet salesman called to dealers outside their normal trade area to find me a Desert Rock EX-L with DVD/Nav. The document fee was $35. The state required title fee was $61. Plus sales tax. That was it. Not hidden fees, no additional fees. We picked up our vehicle Friday. Very easy. No pressure to buy any extras. Fast & friendly. My husband DID NOT WANT anyone to be allowed to test drive our vehicle before we picked it up. I was assured this would not happen, and it did not. There were only 9 miles on it, which were from the Honda required dealer test. I didn't ask, but I bet that now prices are coming down, they are offering more than $500 off. They offered $500 off on September 23! One Seattle dealer insisted that I was going to be "had" with a quote like that. He said it was completely unreasonable to believe that a dealer would sell such a hot vehicle to me at that price! He sent me a lengthy email detailing why this couldn't possibly happen and why I should give him a call so we could discuss it. He didn't want to see me burned. I was quite ammused!
