Sounds like the ODY has been doing pretty well for you. A couple of notes: 1. We got hit on the wheel with our former Civic and scratched the bumper. The wheels wasn't damaged but we found two problems after we had the car repaired. First the alignment got knocked out which the body shop didn't check so we ruined a tire before we detected it. Second the wheel bearing on the wheel that got hit failed 10K miles later at 50K miles. 2. In the manual for my 04 there is a note saying that the engine could take longer to start in some circumstances due to emission control. |

Ahem, please pick up the update thread over in the Honda Odyssey discussion where Wholigan also posted his update - people want to read about deals over here. Thanks! Steve, Host |

| I will buy an Odyssey in the next two week. Any experience or advice would be very appreciated. | |
| I'm in the market for a new minivan and I'm trying to decide between the new Sienna and the Odyssey. The price I got on the odyssey is $24,000 for a LX with Added CD player Keyless entry and a roofrack. The sienna has those things and they want 23,500 Is that a good deal for the honda. I'm in the seattle area, has someone gotten a better deal around here? If so where at. Any info or input would be appreciated. Thanks | |

For another 500-$800 you can get an EX that has the features your are adding to the LX and more. The dealers' lots are full of Odys and you should be able to buy one at or below invoice. There is a $500 kicker to the dealer from Honda on the Ody right now. I got an EX for invoice in Vancouver, WA 2 weeks ago. You should have no problems getting that price or better in Seattle with a little persistence. If you can't get the price you want in Seattle try Dick Hannah Honda Internet sales in Vancouver. I would bet they would pick you up at the Amtrak station.
