Putting the ODY on a credit card was just for the free air fare. We had it set up with advance approval and you are required to pay off a certain amount in the first month. We figured we might as well get the ticket out of the car if we could. We met the sales manager David Daren at Kendall Honda, he was one of the guys that helped move our luggage. And yes, they did not have to treat us as good as they did they did but that seems to be the attitude of that dealership, which is a welcome difference from my area (SF Bay). Bought my gg ex in cleveland OH from Dennis at Jayhonda. ex was 26640 plus $50 doc fee and 19.25 for thirty day tag with your choice of options. We live in Atlanta and could have had it shipped but opted to fly on buddy pass with delta for 23$. Got reimbursed cab fare to dealership. stayed over night in hotel and gas expenses too. Only disadvantage was long drive through snow, ice, wind and rain, but got to see how it handled in those conditions, and the 700 instant miles we put on. Hope Clark Howard is proud!

John, could you give some more info about those dealers in so cal that called you back said they would give you the van for msrp? especially the san diego guy. Cause i live there and am looking for one myself. Thanks in advance

My husband said we can get an Odyssey but keeps moving the date back. I want one by the time our next baby comes, in May. Now from reading the posts here and on other boards I see I need to get busy researching and possibly waiting months to get the one I want. My question: Has anyone had any experiences with dealerships in Jacksonville, Florida? I remember seeing a Savannah ad in the paper a few months ago saying they sell below MSRP - anyone try them? Thanks!
