Be careful doing too much of the towing accessories yourself. If you install everything and then actually do some towing - they may not honor your warranty should you have any problems they could relate to towing (i.e. transmission). When I was looking at Ody's, I called several dealers in the area and had quotes from $950 - $1,050 for everything installed. So when I was dickering on the car, that was my last card. I told them if they would add the complete 3,500# towing package to their current offer for $600 installed, then I would buy the vehicle and they whined but eventually accepted. It looks very nice. I had never heard of it either - a friend told me about it...My understanding is you push a button on the keyless entry thing and the car starts, meaning you can warm it up/cool it down before you get in, depending on the weather. I have never had this feature but a woman at Honda (as did my friend who had it on her SUV) said they can not live without it now...

My dealer even extended the warranty from 3/36 to 5/60, although it had $50 deductible, no problem, extension to 5 years makes it worth it.   By the way, it handles beautifully. Way more roomy than sienna. Feels more solid also.

rbell, thanks. I would imagine if you installed the Honda HD power steering and automatic tranny coolers + wiring kit you would be ok on the warranty.   I read the install instructions for the full Honda package. It seemed do able but there are a lot of steps required before you get the job done.   It appears that the 04 Sienna currently has the towing kit (less the hitch) as standard equipment. All you have to do is install the hitch and the wiring.

Keyless entry is different and this feature is different as stated above You press some buttton on the remote and the car starts, meaning you can warm it up/cool it down before you get in, depending on the weather. There is no paint sealant/fabric protection package that is a "$795 value." Maybe worth $100. However, still a great deal!!

The device is called a remote starter. My parents have one on their car. They love it. It works just like the remote entry. You press a button on the remote and the car starts. After receiving a couple e-mail price quotes from other dealerships I went for a test drive at Honda Auto Center Of Bellevue. We negotiated a final price for a 2004 Odyssey, however he would not give me a copy of the quote, my first clue. I called back the next day and confirmed the price with him. When I went to purchase the vehicle, a day later, he explained he had added up the price wrong and the new price was several hundred dollars more – yes the old and tired bait and switch. He, nor his manager, would honor the previous price quote. With unscrupulous sales tactics like that I suggest avoiding Honda Auto Center Of Bellevue, WA
