My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a 2004 Odyssey EX-L. We are most likely going to be purchasing it from Lynnwood Honda in Edmonds. I called them and spoke with an "internet account manager" he said that the MSRP was 28,980. He said he could offer me the EX-L at a Costco price of 27,906. I though in turn that it was a pretty decent price, but after reviewing all the posts, it seems as though the price isn't all that great. Is there anyone in the Seattle area, or for that matter in Western Washington that can give me any insight into their purchase, like where it was purchased, price and experience overall. The thing that it making it a little difficult is that I will be leasing it, but regarless, I still want to negotiate price. Any help would be great. |

| Currently there are strong inventories on Odysseys in your market area. Because of this, it's a great time to get a great deal! | |

This is after talking to about 4 dealers locally. 2004 Honda Odyssey EX-L with DVD for: 27,850.00 (includes destination charge) Two dealers locally wouldn't even match it. I even had proof via email from another dealer. They didnt want to go any lower than 28200.00. Funny thing is when I first started looking a few weeks back, one of the dealers quoted me a Costco memebers price of 27,906.00 for an EX-L. The yesterday, they said 28,202 with DVD. Some of these Car Dealers are unbelievable. Just so locals know what I am talking about, the Dealership is Lynnwood Honda. |

"manaraki" My wife and I are also looking for a 2004 Odyssey EX in the Seattle area. In your post, #4969, you said you contacted four dealers in the Seattle area regarding a price for a 2004 Odyssey EX-L. I am curious which dealers you contacted and which ones were good to deal with and were flexible on price. Thanks Note: Consumer Reports Wholesale Price, 1/20/04, EX-L,(Invoice + Destination Charge) - holdback = (25,632 + 490) - 855 = 25,267. 3% Dealer profit would bring that to about 26,000. Don't know what the DVD costs. |

| I just paid 27450 in Portland on an ad as I mentioned above. The dealer said if I referred someone to them, they would do another one at $400-$500 over what I paid. | |

Contact via email and I will give you the full scoop. My email address is manaraki22 |
