Thanks to the other postings, I flew to Dallas from Little Rock, AR ($106 ticket and 5 hours drive back home) and saved over $2000 compared to local dealers. Bought from David McDavid in Irving for $300 below invoice. All negotiations done via email. Great experience. They picked me up at the airport. Took me two hours to complete the deal. My out the door was as follows. $26,871 EX-L RES $55.00 Document fee $21.75 Texas State inspection fee $62.34 Texas State Vehicle Inventory tax $27,010 out the door price Not sure if I got taken on the document fee and Texas vehicle inventory tax. Regardless got a great deal. If you, want details let me know. |

| Just purchased my 2003 LX and can't be happier. In Ohio this minivan is extremely difficult to get. I paid 23,016 and had the dealer add a cd player, mud flaps, 6 year 100,000 mile warranty with no deductible, tax title out the door price of $26,253. I think I did pretty well, and am extremely happy with the van. If it is anything like my accords it will be a long time beffore I have to purchase one again. My 90 Accord has 198,000 miles on it and the 93 has 179,000 and both still run great and no major repairs. | |
| Congratulations on your Odyssey LX uc113. This is just the kind of deal I am hoping for. I wonder if it will be as difficlut to find an LX for us. I notice that our local dealer in Tucson has nothing but EXs. But getting a 2003 lx at invoice + around 500.00 is with in our financial reach. Otherwise, we may have to consider the smaller, but less exp MPV. | |

Please give me the details to your deal - who the salesman was, how you approached them about price in your e-mail, etc. You can get my e-mail address from my profile. Thanks in advance. By the way - which manufacturing site supplies Dallas with Ody's? Is it the one in AL? |
|
| There have been many post of 03 Ody purchases in the NorthEast area. Just go back several pages and you will find a good amount to give you some direction. I say go back about 2 months, and that should be good enough to start. | |

I just returned to Phoenix in my new Odyssey EX. Dealers in Phx didn't want to deal. I emailed dealers in Houston and found that they were around invoice. I bought mine from Russel & Smith Honda for $200 below invoice. The internet department was great to deal with. They picked me up at airport, checked out van, did paper work, on the road in 2 hours after I landed. $300 round trip and I saved over $1000 with that and the price of the van. The best part was driving the van. The more I drove it the more I fell in love with it. Driving thru Texas was even enjoyable. |

nice find in Houston. Did you solicit pricing westward towards Ca. or north to Las Vegas? |

Edmunds has the EXL w/RES at $27,359 for invoice. Your price is (almost) $500 UNDER invoice. I'd say you did OK?!?!? Wholigan |
