Suggest you contact Car City in Chippewa Falls WI-near Eau Claire-715-723-9141 and ask for Peter. They are honest sales people and after dealing with the dealers in the TC area-what a refreshing change. Got a better deal than from Vern Ide in SD and it is a lot closer. good luck |

Please, no phone numbers or other detailed contact info either. We don't have the resources to verify this kind of thing. Thanks! Steve, Host |

| Where in New Jersey did you get 1500 less than MSRP on your 2003 Odyssey? Please post the dealership name, I would really appreciate it. We are having no luck here on LI for anything under MSRP. Thanks. - Anyone else getting under MSRP in NY metro area? | |
| I got EX-L 2003, last day of Sep. I think it was month end and also quarter end I got a good deal. It was in NJ Denville area Honda Dealer. Good Luck. | |
| I've been talking with a salesperson at Jacobs about an 03 Odyssey EX-L with DVD. She said today is last day for $1500 off MSRP. I'm wondering if this is legit or does this dealer rope you in with an order then add extras when the time comes to pick up the car? The price I was quoted (before tx, fees) is 28,860. I'd like to order but it seems to good to be true. Also looking for Havasu Blue, heard Honda is not making it yet. Any updates? | |

in the mouth. Order the car, put down your deposit after you review the quote, and wait it out. don't fret too much. If you have the quote your done. I was on a 90-day adventure for Havasu Blue and gave up. Went with a black ex-l. best of luck |

| I e-mailed them twice and got no response. Apparently, they don't want to deal with Southerners. *:o)) | |

I hope they stand by their word (I have a signed purchase order for $1,500 off MSRP, although I know it's meaningless)... Keeping our fingers crossed. |

Thanks for the feedback regarding Jacobs and just running with a "gift horse." I feel much better about having signed the deal last night. hschultz, we're in it together and we'll hope for the best! I had the sales person write on my order "no other options." Regarding the line for the $1500 off MSRP, I was told last night that they're placing their order on the 28th so there still may be time for other interested parties. I got this connection with Jacobs through carsdirect.com. My Jacobs sales person said this discount is only through the Internet -- customers who walk into the showroom would not receive it; they say they're trying to build their Internet business. My initial e-mail contact came from the following address: dmarek |

| I contacted the dealer in Denville NJ . He has only one white EX in stock for which he said he will negotiate when I mentioned 1500 off of MSRP. However I did not want one in white so I went with the dealer in Burlington, NJ (also closer to home since I live in Cherry Hill). Got a "In stock" Red EX with wheel locks, mud guards, center arm rest console, window etching and free life time NJ inspections (they are free anyway at state emission testing facilities) for $500 below MSRP. No other extraneous charges except for $49 documentation fee. Of course tax and title/reg was 1611 and 67(since I was transferring registration from another car) were additional. Total PRice paid inclusive of tax, title & registration 28,587.80 (26,860 + 1611.60 tax + 67.20 title/reg + 49 doc). Redrock Pearl EX. | |
