I am also in the market for 2012 EX-L W/Res, and I think you got one of the best OTD deal in Atlanta area, for this trim. I know this because I have also been checking odyclub.com, for local and other areas.

Do you mind sharing the name of the dealership you purchased this from? 2013s are coming out soon and also their 0.9% financing will continue till Oct 31, 2012, as I just saw. Thanks!

rashidrana, I went to the Frisco dealer and got the run around even after I had made it clear to the salesman (via email) that I was looking to make a quick deal! Instead he did exactly the opposite... Of course I realized it pretty quick and walked out after wasting about 30 minutes...

Yes I can refer you to the person I dealt with and also email/call him if you like! How do I contact you? Do you have a general email?

EDIT: rashidrana, just letting you know that I made the deal at the end of Aug. and there was a $1250 dealer incentive available.. Even then the Mckinney/Frisco dealers would not budge much!! In either case it will be somewhat YMMV with your experience in buying the vehicle... But it does not hurt to try!!!!!

I subscribe to the CR.org bottom line price guide, powered by TrueCar.com. Checking for their current incentives shows that on the EX-L trims (w/o RES, w RES and w/Nav), they have, dealer incentives of $1250 for each of these trims, in addition to dealer hold backs between $700-$740. They are also continuing to offer the 0.9% for 24-60 months. I was on odyclub.com website and someone pointed to this, stating that $1250 expired and has been lowered to $750 (http://www.realcartips.com/honda-incentives/), but that is not the case, at least from what CR site is showing.

Can I ask who your sales person is? We are looking to purchase one and this seems like a good price.

Thanks!

We bought an EXL w/ RES in NJ at the end of Aug for $33,800 OTD. I was originally aiming for EXL only version, thinking the RES would cost at least $1,500, which, I always argue, is enough to buy each of my kids an iPad. Turns out RES was only $800 more, negotiated down from $1,300 the dealer first offered. You can barely get an after-market DVD system installed by BestBuy for that price, plus it's given me better control over when/what they watch - think kid iPad addiction. In the end, the dealer also throw in a full set of all weather floor/trunk mat, which was nice.

Anyhow, here's the breakdown:

EXL+RES: $30,750 (incl. destination)
Registration: $400 (good for 4 yrs I think)
Nitrogen fill: $59 (rip-off, somehow worked its way in there and can't take it off)
Doc fees: $400
Other crap: $40 (don't remember)
Tax: $2,152
---------
Total: $33,800

Couple of observations: The dealer seemed motivated to sell only cars they have on the lot, luckily they have the right trim/color I wanted. Our timing was also good (end of month), as the dealer insisted that we pickup the car before 9/1 so they can book it as Aug sales.

Hope this helps.
John

Has anyone from California gotten close to this price? I haven't been able to get any dealer to come close to $30,750 for an EX-L w/RES. Most of them are at least $32k.

We never saw the EXL for under $31k and when we were looking at EX-L w/NAV the best price we got was $32,500. (We got a couple of lower prices but the dealers were a hassle and had dealer add-ons and additional fees.)
