Honda Odyssey, Van
#28901 of 30568 EXL in Omaha, Nebraska
May 29, 2012 (5:30 pm)
I just bought an EXL with mud flaps at Superior Honda in Omaha.
Final price with all document fees and destination is $32, 399 not including TTL. Not sure if this was a good deal in this area or not (there are not many posts in the Midwest).
They gave us $15,000 for our 2007 EXL Odyssey with 57,000 miles, new tires, a cracked windshield, and several dings, and Honda extended warranty. I thought this was pretty fair.
Took the 0.9% for 60 months.
Didn't discuss the $750 dealer cash.
They did say that we would have to take one off the lot for this price and we would have to pick it up by Thursday so they could get it on this months paperwork.
This is the second Odyssey we purchased here. I had a lot of trouble with the '07's brakes so I didn't think I would buy another one (air in the break lines but they couldn't fix it after a recall and 3 tries).
So first I went to the Toyota dealer. The salesman said that a Seinna XLE starts at $38,000 to $40,000! I walked out! It made Honda look really professional and if this hadn't happened, I may not have gone back to Honda and bought another one!
Superior Honda was really professional and didn't give us any run around.

Picked up a new lease on an Odyssey EXL this past holiday weekend. Dealer agreed to a selling price for lease or purchase of 30,500 including destination. Was pleased with the pricing as I shopped around a good part of the state.
#28903 of 30568 purchased Touring
May 29, 2012 (7:53 pm)
After a few weeks of driving every minivan made, almost buying a Sienna (but had terrible experience with a local dealer), we finally bought an Odyssey and while a minivan isn't my most wanted car, it's what our family needs and I'm excited to drive it! Here's what we paid.
Touring, smoky topaz and truffle
Sales price (including all fees): $37,435
OTD (including 8.65% tax, ouch): $39,049
0.9% financing for 60 months
Thanks so much to all who have posted here!
(now I'll try not to look at the June incentives as I don't want to know if it makes it a better deal!)

#28905 of 30568 2012 Touring in Phoenix

Curious on any recent buyer experiences.
The best offer as of now is $38.7k ( includes destination). Feeling like I should wait. Thoughts? Of course we want a black one and that is a harder find in PHX.

A black minivan in Phoenix? Wouldn't you rather cook eggs on your stove? Make sure you get an EX or better so that your kids don't have to touch the door handles!

We just bought a Touring yesterday for $37,435 including all fees & destination before TT&L. We had several local dealers offering that price as their first offer and others we had to work down to that price by matching the first dealers, and some dealers wouldn't go below $38,000. If you can find one invoiced before the 4/1 price increase, they'll be more willing to come down on price as their dealer cost increased by $500 after 4/1 (so I hear). The msrp for a Touring before the increase was $41,990 and $42,160 after the increase. We got one offer as low as $36,900 as he had 2 of the same color invoiced before 4/1 with another on the way, and he was in a small town that probably doesn't get much business. Unfortunately for us, it wasn't the right color. Good luck!

#28909 of 30568 Touring Elite Price in Southern VA
May 30, 2012 (2:12 pm)
I've been offered a 2012 Touring Elite for $40K (including destination, wheel locks and pin stripes). I negotiated the doc fee down to $299. Although I've seen lower prices in NoVa and MD, only two of six dealers would honor this price here. Has anyone see lower prices in southern VA? I'm going to pick it up tomorrow if I don't find something better tonight.

I received the initial offer for that price from White Allen in the Dayton area. Just went on their site and picked the van I liked and filled in the request for a quote/info for that van and they shot over the 30500 price. You could probably use that email proof to secure the price or something close if you dont want to travel to Dayton.
