This forum has been a great help. Thanks to all that post! This is my first post and wanted to know what you all think out there about this deal.
 
I have a deposit on a Honda Certified 2008 Odyssey EX with 14k miles. Has remainder of factory bumper to bumper warranty and then the additional 12/12k on top. OTD price is 22K which includes $2500 from a trade-in of my 1999 Odyssey LX with 110K miles. Thinking it is a pretty decent deal.

I've been working with a dealer in chester county, pa (suburbs of Phila) and their last quote to me was $28,300 for an Odyssey EX 2010 (we started at 29,115). Is this a good price for this van or can we get closer to the dealer invoice in this area?

I believe you should be around invoice. I've gotten a couple of quotes just below invoice (couple of hundred dollars).

Thanks! I actually just rec'd a quote of 27,9K from another dealer, so I've taken that back to the folks I've been working with... we'll see what happens!

I am looking to buy a 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ Navigation and Rear Entertainment Price in Dallas, TX.
 
What kind of OTD (out of the door) price has anyone felt satisfied with ?
Also, any thoughts on the package called 'Honda Protection Package' ? Seems like dealers want to add this to all their vehicles.

I have been given a quote of $31,495 + others with OTD of 35,250 for Odyssey EX-L RES in Edison NJ.
 
I am in no hurry to buy. Is this a good quote? Is this true that Sienna XLE with Option 3 package is roughly $3000 cheaper than Honda?

Sienna XLE with EVP 3 is about 3K less than Odyssey. The 2010 Sienna is no longer being produced, so what is on the ground is all that is left. 2011 Sienna announced and in production. Will be in dealer showrooms in the next few weeks.
