| I found the fern interior to be a little darker than the quartz (especially in the leather). It was the primary reason I chose my color (granite green). Bought the grey Weathertech mats for it and they look great. Can't help you with dealerships - I'm north of you (WI). | |

$500 under MSRP still seems to be the going rate. I have seen one report of $1000 under in the Houston area. Also, starting to hear of dealers with them on the lot. Honda's site is probably the best place to see Honda options for the Odyssey. |

was Russell & Smith. Overall a great car buying experience. Less than 45 minutes to do the deal and a great deal. My opinion is that the dealers are right now attempting to artificially hold prices up. Consumers (ME and YOU) who go in and consider ourselves lucky to get a van at MSRP with little or no wait only further fuels their fire. For those about to buy - settle for nothing less than $500 under MSRP. Because once the MSRP barrier gets broken consistenly, they will be forced to compete against eachother. Sidenote to my experience = After the $1000 off MSRP was agreed to, they did mention the $189 for VIN etching on glass, and how they do it on all their vehicles. I said that I did not care for that and would walk if they expected me to pay for something they chose to do. Salesman said "fine, you should not have to pay for it." When I asked if that charge would show up at closing the next day (today) he said "no" and that if it did to let him know. Of course at closing we were $200 over the expected out the door price. I said that I had agreement not to pay for the etching and the finance guy said "We do that to all of our vehicles" My reply "It was already agreed that I would not be paying for that," to which he says, "Well, he'll get in trouble for that." Do dealers really think that we believe them when they say things like that? |

| What's happened to Russell & Smith. I can't believe they've resorted to those kind of tactics. They are were I got a price of $500 under MSRP early last year thru their internet department and they gave me the out the door price up front. Easiest deal I've ever had. | |

Well, we've had our Odyssey EX for 6 weeks now. (I had my baby boy on 2/27 and my husband went to get the van the next day!) I was told not to drive for a few weeks- no way, couldn't wait to drive it! But I had a surprise when I saw the sticker from the car. The price was actually $28,185. The dealer added stripes, fabric protection, wheel lip moldings (what's that?), undercoat, weatherproofing- stuff we wouldn't have paid extra for. So the $25,799 we paid was a slightly even better deal. |

| We're getting MSRP south of Boston but a friend got $500 above invoice price about 6 months ago from Bernardi Honda in Natick. Any info on below MSRP pricing for 2002 Ody EX? | |
| He was pulling your leg. | |
| What are people paying for an LX in North Carolina? | |
| I live in KY-TN border. Keen to know if any dealer offered below MSRP for EX model 2002.So far the best price I got 26750 plus taxes. | |
