LA Prices / FL Prices by ksyrup

As for LA, I was on vacation end of March in Newport Beach and they were marked up $5,000. Don't know what they are selling for.

To whomever is looking in SW FL, I'm in Tallahassee and just got back this weekend from purchasing a Granite Green EX from Maroone of Hollywood (near Ft. Lauderdale). Bought it over the phone for a few hundred dollars under MSRP - I probably could have pushed for an even better deal, but I wasn't sure whether they would balk, as I got the only one of 4 EX's from their shipment last week that wasn't already sold. Might have been good timing on my part, but it seems like they get a fairly regular shipment. They told me (after I purchased, btw) that they had 15 Odysseys two weeks ago and I bought the last one.

They even beat the 5.89%, 60 month financing I brought in by getting me 5.75%. We were out the door in less than an hour!

Figure MSRP but availability can be an issue, best to make arrangements before you go.

I bought an EX at MSRP plus $399 admin fee at Palm Harbor Honda on US 19 in Palm Harbor FL (just north of Clearwater). This is a new dealership that just opened and they have quite a few on the lot of both EX and EXL. Same deal as others in the area but they gave me the best deal on my trade. I bought from Patrick Corrigan at (727) 772-6600.

Drove from Western,Pa to Columbus ,Ohio to celebrate my 60th birthday with my son and his family along with a few friends. Drove to Cleveland, Ohio to Rick Case Honda (Ohio's largest dealer) to test drive the new 2002 Ody EX. We arrived at 11:45 am and completed our test drive at 12:30pm. they had four on the lot that were for sale. Picked out the GG EX. We were treated to a nice lunch at a popular Sports Pub. By 2:45 pm, we were on our way back home. Total wait time about 2hours and 15min. Not the Five to Eight months that our local Honda Dealer had specified and did not have any to test drive. And the good news is they knocked off $800 of the sticker price, bought the Extended 7 year 100,000 mile Honda warrenty for $820.00,Received several free coupons for oil and filter changes, received a life time unlimited free dealer car washes and a four day 3 night vacation in Orlando, Florida with unlimited free golfing. It was a great weekend

For those of you who are looking for a LX; I just bought a new 2002 Odyssey LX with no options, paid 23,520 plus taxes and title (around $1200 off MSRP); no trade. Keep negotiating!

I like the van but the front seat needs more lower back support and padding.

Good luck!

I'm looking for an EX in WA state, but the best I can get seems to be MSRP+1000.
kimwipes... which dealer did you buy it from? Maybe I can buy from Portland and drive up.
Does anyone know a better price in WA state?

I had a dealer in Washington offer $28,700 for a Silver EX w/ Leather today. Sorry, but I'm holding the information for my customer.

Hey, Ron. I contacted Crown Honda in St. Pete and they are offering MSRP. Then I took ksyrup's suggestion and contacted Maroone Honda in Hollywood (about two hours from Ft. Myers/Cape Coral). They offered $300 below MSRP + tax and tags for the EX. No fees or add-ons. And most important, no attitude. Nice internet sales manager too. His name is Ed Brunjes and you can contact him via this email address: BrunjesEmaroone.com. I'll be getting back with him in June/July to get my silver EX lined up for pick up in August when my lease expires. Oh, and thanks, ksyrup. Great advice!

canada 37,537 units since 1/1
us 11,786 units since 1/1
This represents significant increase over last year and confirms the $500 discounts dealers are offering to credit union members in my area.
On an annual basis this could yield 200,000 units.
However, the 80,000 pilots will cut into this eventually but for this spring I think many of you could end up with $1,000 discounts for a while.
