When you say OTD do you mean including taxes, title, fees... What is your local sales tax rate?

Yup, tax, title, all fees included. Local tax is 3%.

No other dealer in my area will touch that price.

Not sure about mud guards. MSRP is 36k according to their website.

I think it is a very fair price. The best quote I got for an EX-L w/RES was $31,086 with all taxes and fees. My sales tax rate is 6% (GA) which adds $879 to my price vs yours. If I back out half the tax to make mine comparable to yours I would be at $30,207. The quote I got from a second dealer was $200 more. The third dealer said he would beat a written quote (email) from the other dealer by $50. So in my area all three dealers are very willing to do a deal at this price. Tomorrow I am going to go and see what they will give me on a trade on my 2000 Ody. That will likely determine which dealer I buy from.

One more plus. The Economic Stimulus package provides a tax deduction for the sales tax paid on a new vehicle. It appears to me that purchases made from Nov 2008 through Dec 2009 qualify.

I got a good quote I think... just wanted to make sure. It's LESS than I paid (invoice at the time) for my 2004 EX odyssey NEW!

1st quote:

2009 EX Odyssey

Van: $24,866.00
TTL (3% sales tax; title and lisc included)
OTD price: $26,136
this includes the all weather mats (free) , wheel locks and mud guards (they put on all their hondas and are in price)...

OR
2nd Quote:
Van ... same price.. SAME OTD $26,136
this includes FREE all weather mats also, but they don't do wheel locks or mud guards for free BUT>>> they do a FREE>.. 7 year /100,000 mile warrenty, 7 yr/100k mile power train, FREE unlimited touchless car washes, car wash and vacuum w/ each service, FREE roadside 24/7 assistance for 7 yr/100k miles!! AND Free tire hazzard protection reinbursment!!! that warrenty alone is enough to forfit the mud guards and the wheel locks! (especially since i HAVE honda wheel locks in my shed !! and .. I found the set of 4 BRAND new from handa accessories.com for only $65!!!
so same OTD as offer #1 but w/ all the free warrenty...

MY apr ( I have 820 ++ credit score) is 5.99% w/ USAA but that's got gap insurance attached etc..etc.. and they are our bank and WONDERFUL! I'll use AM honda IF it's 2.99% but that's not been the APR on oddy's since my 04!!

anyway.. I paid (invoice at the time) 24,900 for my 2004 EX oddy! this is LESS!

Good deal??

I think so.. but wanted to ask....

warranty by armywife2cpt

Also, that awesome warrenty, I asked cause we move around a lot; hubby in the army; is transferable ...ANY honda dealer in the US will take it!!!

If you buy from them; you can go back to your home state and have the same benefits (minus the car wash maybe, as that was just installed at the dealership).. as I will w/ that warranty!

I was worried it was ONLY at their dealership, but NO, ANY honda dealer... it's a honda warrenty! Basically it's an extended warranty for FREE !!

I'm really leaning towards #2 for the warranty since the van and OTD are the SAME price!!!

2009 EX-L in DC area by dc_buyer2

My wife just switched - now she wants the leather so I'm looking for the right price to start out with in my negotiations for the EX-L (no res and no nav). In looking through the messages it looks like I see the lowest around $27,300? and otd as around 30,000. I'm not sure if I have that correct. What are people getting for an EX-L (please separate out TTL, dest charge, and other fees so that I can compare for my state)?

Thanks in advance!
