Honda Odyssey, Van
#21560 of 30569 Just bought my 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ RES Yesterday
Feb 09, 2009 (10:44 am)
We negotiated the price of the van down from the sticker of 35,325 to 29,425. We received 2000 dollars for a trade in and with TT our out the door price was 29,607 with 3.9% financing from a local credit union. I hope this helps all that are trying to work a deal for their new Honda Odyssey. I hope we got the best deal we could, we did research, but with twin babies, we didn't want to hit up a bunch of dealerships! Let me know if you have any questions.

Did you get an 2008 or 2009? I just bought my Ody yesterday, and there were no incentives?? Do you think this varies from state to state?

I got a 2009. The $2250 is marketing support money from Honda to dealer. It's up to the dealer to pass any of it on to the customer. From what I've read on these forums, incentives may vary by region.

It may not have been spelled out but you definitely got the $2,250 in your net price of $29,425. The dealer invoice is $32,151 with destination so it would be very difficult to get to your net price without the dealer cash.
#21564 of 30569 Is 32k OTD a good price for 09 EX-L with DVD in CA

Is 32k OTD a good price for a EX-L with DVD in CA?
Has any one bought it recently?

I would say with 8% sales tax and another 350 in plate fee (aprox) your purchase price is in the mid 29K which is pretty good.

I got an offer on 2005 Odyssey exl+dvd for 19K . There are 22K miles on that car.
Is that a deal? If not, how I can offer? (The KBB retail price shows 20K, private party shows 17.5k)
#21567 of 30569 09 Honda Odyssey Touring w/ accessories
Feb 10, 2009 (4:17 am)
i was quoted an even $35K for a 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring (non-PAX) model WITH the following accessories installed:
running boards, cross bars, 3rd row sunshades and cargo tray ($1450 approx price)
i've been getting quotes over $35K for the Touring model alone (does NOT include the accessories), so i'm thinking the deal is pretty good.

Seems like a good deal to me.
I bought a 09 touring w/out pax a month ago and paid 36.9K, plus destination.
Just make sure it's not a bait and switch.
What part of the country are you in?
Best of luck!
#21569 of 30569 Honda Odyssey 2007

I am planning to buy an Odyssey 2007 which has 16K miles. It is a certified pre-owned vihicle. The asking price is 19K. The warrranty, sice it is certified, goes till 48K miles/4years calculated from Jan'07. Is that a good deal?
The dealer is also offering a wrap up warranty from Honda Care that would extend the Warranty till 100K miles/7years calculated from Jan07 to match the power train warranty. The price for the warrany ia 900. Is it woth it?
