Yes Honda dealer gave it to me. This is extended warranty: 7 years/100000 miles. As per dealer it costs $1700.00. I was looking for 2008 EX-L. Curry honda had one white in color with 200 miles on it and they were selling it for 28000.00 on road, including managers attitude (that he is doing a great favor by selling it for 28k). I was all set to buy it but was not ready for EXTRA bonus( Managers attitude). I looked online called couple of dealers in GA got color of my choice (black) from Columbus GA ( great service) . Everything was done on phone in 30 minutes and very next day they delivered(No cost) the van to my house in Atlanta.

06 trade in w/PAX by govthokie

Not sure if this is the right area...but since this is a buying area, maybe someone else has done this.

I am thinking about trading in for a new odyssey w/o PAX tires. My current touring needs to have the tires replaced (for the 3rd time), which is part of the reason I am trying to unload it. Moving forward with the purchase of a new van will depend on the trade-in amount I will get on this one. If we can't get enough out of the van to make the new purchase do-able, I'm going to de-PAX. So, it doesn't really make a lot of sense to put new PAX tires on it if I end up not trading it in. I'd say the condition is between good and excellent, no taking into account the tires.

Any idea how much the dealer would try to ding the trade-in b/c it needs new tires? And, how much would it cost the dealer to do it in order to resell it? If it would cost us $800-900 to replace tires only (not the wheel assembly), how much would it cost the dealer at their at cost prices? Kinda hoping to know that as bargaining power at the table...

Hi

By any chance did you request for a quote for EX-L with RES only?

Appreciate your response.

Thanks

Was that OTD? or before tax and tags?

In MD I was quoted $29,500 but that includes tax tags and all charges.

I'm young, female, and have no clue what I am doing. I have been debating as to whether or not to use this to ensure I will not spend thousands more than I have to.

Would it be worth the money if I can save thousands and have peace of mind?

You can save thousands and peace of mind by reading posts here. And some buyers who use these services end up paying more then someone who does some research right here. What are you looking for and I can tell you what my internet price is - it should be within a few hundred of offers in almost all pockets of this country.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFER TO SELL YOU A VAN!

Hello,

I am shopping for new 2009 Odyssey EX-L and shopped around little bit and the lowest quote I got is $27,950 sale price and $30180(out the door, 7.25% tax rate). Is this good price?

Thanks

Sorry no, but just email the Internet Sales Manager at Livermore Honda and I believe he'll give you a good price. He offered a great price right from the get go so there was little to negotiate in terms of price.

Thanks for responding.

I hope there is only one Internet Sales Manager who can do the deal smoothly as you have explained in your posting. From what I know EX-L with RES is usually 2k lesser than the one that you have purchased.
