After negotiating with several dealers in the Raleigh area, finally bought the 08 ODY EX-L with DVD and NAV from Bryan honda in Fayettville NC for a OTD price of $30,750 with a honda financing of 0.9% for 36 months (no cash down). Here is the break down:

Invoice (with destination): 29,383.53
Tax (3%) : $893.48
Title: $74
Doc: $399
OTD: $30750.01

This forum has been very helpful in negotiating. Thank you!

Can you shared the quote so that I can work with the dealers? Thank you very much.

On the same 08 Touring w/o pax, I got $34,200 (MSRP 40,645) on car inclu destination in MA/New Hampshire area. Doc fee, plates, etc, were add'l and in normal range. No trade, no financing. Some of the dealers claimed that $34K was their bottom line cost after invoice, $2K cash incentive, and rebates (presumably their holdback.). I felt that TMV was not up to date or was way over the best available negotiable pricing. What's nice is that the Honda sticker says "full tank of gas" so it's no longer a nickel and dime thing with the dealer.

I bought from my dealer before, and they have been willing to swap for car from another dealer. Aside from a newbie aggressive on the warranty/service programs, fairly innocuous process. Of course, inventory and colors are low now.

Agree on staying away from PAX, b/c a bent rim, plus tire, plus sensor will cost you about $700.

I primarily negotiated via email but spent time visiting many dealers. A dealer in Natick was a notorious bait and switcher, with low ball pricing. However, if they have the stock, then they have good prices and processes. Newton Village intentionally responds with poorly worded or erroneous info to bring you into showroon, and then bait and switch. http://www.dealerrater.com/dealer/Honda-Village-review-6730/ has some hideous reviews of them. A couple of dealers would not respond via email nor negotiate via email.

Only had the car about 2 wks, but it's a nice car. Highway noise is a bit high. But it's the handling, design, ergonomics, etc.. that makes the car worth it over Sienna, etc..

Thanks for the info on this thread, good luck.

Wow, that's an incredible price, nice job! We actually pulled the trigger last night for $34,550 which includes destination and wheel locks. The dealer was willing to find the color we wanted, but they have a color we like scheduled to arrive next week. We had another dealer tell us our deal was a great price and we should take it.

EX-L pricing by skodyssey

Looked at several posts for the lowest pricing, Here's the best pricing for EX-L I have gotten $26400 (26600-$200 coupon) including 0.9% financing

Lease without negotiation 800 down, 342 per month inc tax for 35 months, 12k/per year for 3 years this I think for sure I can get him down to 325-330. Residual is really high around 18300 which I don't like in case I want to buy it as out of door price increases by 3000 in the end if I decide to buy.

I'm trying to buy it today or tomorrow, after that I will provide dealership names etc....

$26400 include doc fee & Tax? Even though, considering 0.9%, it is still a good deal for EX-L. Where is this dealer? Thanks,

We are looking in the Milwaukee and Madison area. We'd really like to get the EXL with RES if the price is right. But, we may also have to realistic and think about an EX.
Any good experiences and deals with Wisconsin dealers that anyone could share with me?
