Hey all thanks for the posts. Pulled the trigger Monday on a nimbus gray 08 Ody EXL w/ RES. Used donkey punch and contacted the majority of the dealers in Georgia and N. Florida. Over two day period dealt primarily over email with a few phone calls. Stuck to OTD cost to keep things simple between dealers. Base: $27,986 Doc Fee: $499 7% Tax: $1994 Title/Lemon Law: $21 Total OTD: $30,500 Did not include special financing or trade in. |

Accurate as of 5/29/08. CR is not showing current dealer incentives, so bottom line may be up to $2000 less. Only $1000 less if you go with special APR. Negotiate up from bottom line, which is true dealer cost. Beware of BS "dealer fees" especially in South Florida, and add-on costs for pinstriping, mud flaps or anything not listed on the factory window sticker. Sometimes dealers attach their own "window sticker" next to the existing window sticker, with special "package" add-ons. This is BS. There are so many Odysseys out there right now, so negotiate hard and don't get ripped. Always be willing to walk out the door, no matter how long you've sat there and no matter how many times the sales manager has tried to work out a deal. You have no moral obligation to buy. LX Invoice w dest. 24063 Holdback (776) Bottom line 23287 (may be as low as 21287) EX Invoice w dest. 26864 Holdback (869) Bottom line 25995 (may be as low as 23995) EX-L Invoice w dest. 29801 Holdback (966) Bottom line 28835 (may be as low as 26835) Don't waste your money on RES or NAV. Honda GPS is horrible. Buy a Garmin. Get DVD installed from Best Buy. Skip anything above basic EX-L. EX-L with RES or NAV and Touring models are for flamers. Also skip PAX tires, which make for a harder ride and cost a fortune to replace. Instead spend 10 minutes teaching your wife how to change a flat.

Got a 2008 Odyssey EX-L (No RES, No NAV) Final OTD: $29,123.88 (Included Tax and Doc/Title Fee) With 0.9% AHFC for 36 Months My Tax Rate is 7.25% and Doc/Title Fee is $265 People, when asking if the price is good or not, please indicates if the special APR is included or not - because that is $1000+ differece, if you include the tax.
