I had quotes around 26650 for the EXL-RES from O'Hare Honda and Brian Bemis Honda. Multiple dealers were offering around 29k on the EXL-RES/NAV (Honda of Joliet, Rosen Honda & Brian Bemis Honda). The prices for both trims included destination charge and only extras were tax, title and license. This was end of November so situation could have changed now depending on inventory etc.

If the difference is only $1100, grab the R&N - that's a bargain for the navigation system and back-up camera.

"Does anybody get blue book value for there trade in at a dealership??? "
heck no! the real world trade in board is very helpful. pretty much all of the tools/books etc overvalue trades from the perspective of the person holding the potential trade.

Hmmm. Thats $4k cheaper than the 2007 EX-L RES/NAV quotes than I have been getting. For that price diff, I could put in a good aftermarket DVD/Hard Drive navigation unit with rear camera, 10" rear screen, bluetooth, Mp3, and iPod connections and still have some left over. Seems like that would be more bang for the buck.
Anybody else done this?

Before getting our Odyssey I looked at doing what you are suggesting for the Odyssey, the Toyota Sienna and the Hyundai Entourage. Of those, the install shop told me they could only put the unit into the Entourage because the Odyssey and Sienna don't have a standard double DIN slot in the dash for the radio/entertainment system.

It looks like you can get dash kits to convert the Odyssey to a standard double DIN:

I bought mine to at end of nov and paid $27.5k in NY and actually thought that was a great deal since they were offering $2500 rebate and they split the hold back with me.
