You have some room of negotiation. I just picked up my EX without dealer options. Base price is $23,4xx. OTD price $25K. 5% MA sales tax.

This is way, way under invoice...$28700 is invoice, minus 2k brings you down to 26700...so you got that car for $1700 under invoice.
Odd. Very, very odd.

Yes, I was there in the afternoon.
Propack and other stuff (EPP) is just to make more money, my salesperson knew that I have wholesale pricing on all the accessories and it made the difference while negotiating.
Good luck!!!!

I am not finding it odd, if you do your due diligence by sending emails and negotiating you can get the price. Definitely you might know that dealers also have hold back from Honda.
One word of advice, as time is passing by; dealers don’t have that many to choose from.
good luck!!!!

Yes, dealers have holdback, but he's well, well past holdback.
I just went through these forums, and that's the lowest price anyone has gotten on an EX-L...by far...actually, by nearly $1,000.
So I do think its odd. Now, granted, he's paying for some accessories after that, but the "base" price of $25K on an EX-L INCLUDING freight is easily the lowest anyone has reported.
I mean that's great for him---he got a great deal--but I don't know that its particularly instructive for the rest of us. We aren't going to get that deal.

Definitely I don’t want to brag on how good deal I got, but isn’t it everybody’s challenge while buying a car to pay as low as possible. Really hate to say how my reporting of the pricing is not informative and is not going to help
This forum has helped me so much and certainly I wish and know for fact that ,lot of people will get better deal than what i got.

Oh, its informative, I only mean that I doubt very much anyone will be able to do any better than that, that's all. Again...if your $25k include freight, then you got your car for $1700 under invoice, which is unprecedented for a Honda Odyssey in any circumstance.

I received a quote of $29,700 for an EX-L with NAV & RES. This includes the $2000 factory discount but excludes TTL.

Another dealer offered it to me. So, I took it to my favored dealer in Tampa and they beat it by $100, which included destination charge. It is a great price. I went to the dealership on Sunday, 09/30 at 4pm. I showed them the emial offering from the other dealer, they agreed, but I had to take dealer stock; Nimbus Gray w/ Olive interior. Also, check my previous posts, regarding dealer invoice - 2% holdback - $2k incentive. Just remember, until you sign on the dotted line, YOU are in control of the negotiations; start at the bottom and negotiate up. Best of luck to you.
