2007 Odyssey LX price paid, ILLINOIS by gurhome

I picked up my 2007 Odyssey LX last weekend for 23,121 (OTD).
Base price - 21,460
Dealer installed options - 10
Doc Fee - 55
Sales Tax (IL) - 1,345
City Tax (Bloomington, IL)- 107
State License and Title - 143

TOTAL - 23,121 (Out the Door)

This is the best price i have seen from this city. One of my colleague did all the quote requests from all around chicago and got this price from bloomington, il. All I had to do is show my friends buyers order and got this price. He was reluctant to give at that price but after showing the proof of previous sale, he had no option.
If any of you want to get the same deal, let me know. I can give you details.

2007 EX quote - good deal? by dconnol2

Thinking about buying this in the next couple days. From what I can tell, the base price they're offering me is invoice minus the $2000 incentive. Does this seem like a good deal?

No discount on the accessories that I asked them to install (back up sensors, auto day/night mirror, 3rd row sunshade) - sales guy says he can't discount those. Does that sound right? Or is he just giving me a line?

I have not yet discussed a trade-in with him, so this is a straight-up quote with no other strings attached (and no other hidden fees).

Base Price (including destination) $24,625.
Back up sensors (in the box $598 - installed $761)
Auto Day/night mirror (in the box $288 - installed $360)
3rd Row Sunshade (in the box $215 - installed $287)
Total = $26,033
plus PA state tax of 6% = $1,562
tag and registration fees $147.65 (new tag - $30 less if transferring)
total = $27,742.65

It looks alright to me. The question is how much your dealer will give you for your trade.

According to the forums, there is also a 2% hold back (some post claimed 3%) for the dealer, beside the $2000 rebate.

I have traded in my 2005 EXL R&N with 31,000 miles. The first two Honda dealers only offered me 19,600 for my trade.

The third dealer only me for the same 2007 model for $5000 plus tax and tag ($113). I leave in the suburban of Philadelphia.

As for the add on, they lowered down to $475 (from $599)for the fog lights. I have yet decided whether I want it or not.

MN & IA: 2007 Touring R&N by 1stlexus

Just paid $34,193 including $2,000 incentive for 2007 Touring R&N from "one-price" Walser Honda in Burnsville. Or about $200 over invoice from what I can tell. And that was with zero negotiation so I suppose you could knock a bit more off it if you really wanted to.

While I'm sure the new features of the 2008's will be nice, not worth the $4,000 extra over 2007 ($1,500 price increase (with PAX)and losing the $2,000 incentive plus additional dealer margin that will be required at first for the 2008s) IMHO.

Wow! How in the world did you pay $32,650 (about $1,300 under INVOICE including the $2k incentive) for a Touring R&N?
