$28,437 for Res or $30,984 for R&N is a very good price. I bought a EX-L R&N in Virginia for my wife at the end of June and I paid $31,000 plus tax & tags with 4.9% financing for 48 months. If you are getting either the Res or R&N for those prices OTD, you are beating my deal by well over $1,000 when you figure in the Virginia sales tax and title fees. I had to work a bit to get mine for $31,000 and ended up going to northern Virginia.

For your area, that sounds like a good deal. I checked Cars Direct.com and they said $28,739 for Richmond, VA. Mine was $28,089 for Hartford, CT. So we're both about $400 under that, so I guess it's about right. I'd say to wait if you can till the end of the month - but only if there is plenty of stock in the color you want.

Did you find any info on NC prices? I'm in Durham and have heard that Southpointe Honda and Cary Autopark don't need to do great deals with the overabundance of soccer moms in the area. I'm thinking about checking out the dealerships in your area. Maybe we could find another buyer or two and create some buying power?

EXL w RES w Nav by angelchicago

Pulled the trigger today on an 07 model EXL w RES w Nav, $29,246 (incl dest, doc fee). Only cost not included is TTL.

I have been scrubbing internet for 6 mos. I thought for sure I would get the 08 model...kindof been holding out. I learned my color of choice Gold/Tan Leath Combon would not be avail in 08 model so I had to make a big decision on whether to get a distant 2nd choice 08 color yet gain some new features but take a step back with the new lame 08 rims, OR go for the 07 model with 1st color choice but no key MP3 player yet in my opinion cooler rims. I decided I wanted to open my garage each morning and love the color and rims, so I went for 07 model and I will just have to do w/o mp3. I also estimated I would save $3700 over the equivalent 08 model.

My next move is to buy accessories over the internet and hook myself up with 8ry/100K ext warranty ($1130 via bernardiwarranty.com).

Its been great hanging with you all good luck on your quest.

Congrats angelchicago!
Sounds like a great deal.

I once got a car I loved everything about... EXCEPT the color. I had to live with that awful color for a few years.

Promised myself I wouldn't settle on color again. After spending thousands of $$$, get the color you LOVE!!

jonfraiser - Which dealership did you get the quote from? Do you have a written quote??? $27,253 for EXL wih Res & Nav seems too good to be true.
