My wife and I are not negotiators, but I wanted to post the particulars since I have valued the opinions and experiences of Edmunds users for quite a while. She test drove all the other vans, but was thrilled with the Odyssey. And when Momma's happy - I'm happy. We purchased at Cale Yarborough Honda in Florence South Carolina. The process was mostly painless, but I don't care who you are or what deal you get, you'll always wonder if the next guy will do better. We are satisfied with the van and hope to enjoy it for many years.

Odyssey EX-L RES just purchased in San Jose by af1914

Hey guys, if anyone is looking for this car in the Bay Area, Capitol Honda in San Jose gave it to me for $27,538 which includes the $2000 rebate. I actually found out after that another dealer would have beaten it by $100, but I was pretty happy with the initial price and pulled the trigger pretty almost right away.

Costco and carsdirect.com were around $28300-$28500. A couple other dealers weren't willing to go this low, so I think it's a good price.

Total price was $30121.

EX-L with NAV & RES - Portland, OR by grizfan

I emailed several dealers in the Portland, OR area for a quote on an EX-L with NAV & RES. Since my wife wants the midnight blue pearl, or choices are narrowed quite a bit, though I did have two dealers come back with $30,187 (includes destination, but not TTL). One has the van right now, the other involves waiting a few weeks. I think this is a really good price from what I've read, especially considering we're looking for a very specific color.
I'd also like them to install the Honda subwoofer, and was quoted $525 for an installed price. This seems a bit steep to me. Is there much room for negotiation with add-on equipment such as the subwoofer or the factory wireless headphones for the rear entertainment system?

I talked to a few dealers and confirmed that some dealers are offering 2000 incentive. The best price I got for EX-L RES is 28104 + taxes + DEST + other fees. Has any one found a better deal in NJ area? I will definitely like to get my hand on new ODY with 2K less and the best price possible. Any help will be appreciated. -Ty

what kind of option does your Odyssey have?
total out of the door is $30121?

is the $2000 rebate for paying cash for the whole car or finance it?

thanks,

Eveyeone, I got these quotes from two different dealers, it is for the EX with the backup sensors (does anyone has these sensors installed, do they really help). What do you think, are the sensors price reasonable, thanks
