This forum helped me greatly in finding the best priced Odyssey. I've been searching for a few months and finally purchased this weekend. No one in my area of Hampton Roads, VA would negotiate with price. So I went to Fairfax, VA and made the deal with Fairfax Honda. I received the out the door price from the internet salesman before going up there. It was a friendly, easy, painless process. I strongly recommend Fairfax Honda. They also gave me a very fair deal for my trade-in (a 2005 Honda CR-V). Out the door price for EX-L without RES or NAV was $29,443 The EX-L was $500.00 below invoice and I received 0.9% financing for 36 months. Overall I think I got a pretty good deal, especially because none of the Honda dealerships in my immediate area of Virginia Beach would negotiate their price at all. The next lowest price quote I received in this area was 30,500 for the same exact vehicle. I saved over a $1,000 by driving a few hours north. |

Plus dealers has very few EX in stock compare to EXL. So, yes it is better chance for negotiation on Higher end model. |

Just wanted to share that I got a EX-L with RES for a price of $29,895 at Curry Honda in Yorktown Heights, NY. The price includes destination, documentation, and because of NH residency no sales tax. Any comments on the price? I am hoping that is in the relm of good- but would appreciate comments. I have not picked up the van already and I wanted to know if anyone has any tips for what to look for with picking up the van. Thanks |

My husband and I are expecting baby #4 and have recently decided we HAVE to upgrade to a van esp since all 4 kids will be in carseats (the kids are 5,3,18 mos newborn come June) so we contact a few dealers from as far as Oklahoma City, Ok, all the way down to Austin, Tx (we're in Ok) Originally we decided upon the LX, then a dealer in Ok made a typo and quoted us $25,900 for an EX, I jumped on it and found 2 dealers in Tx that beat that price, so I'm no longer dealing with the dealer in Ok (didn't want to jinx myself and them catch their error) so now we're really pushing our numbers and we'd like to get the 2007 EX for $25k tax, tag, title everything in that $25k-meaning we need the dealer(s) to go as low as $23,300 (6.25% tax in Tx) So, is this totally unrealistic to even try to get the dealers down to this for a 2007 EX?

Replying to: the4lams (Apr 16, 2007 6:59 am) I tried sending you a PM/email, but it appears that the function is not working at this time. It is against forum policy to post salesmans name, but I will get the info to you.

Replying to: stephyii (Apr 16, 2007 4:50 pm) I'm looking to buy an EX soon too so I will be interested in your results. Is $25,900 including destination Charge? The invoice on the EX is $25,990 + $595 dest = $26,585 Dealers have about $800 in holdback profit so the lowest a dealer is likely to ever go is $25,100 + $595 dest = $25,695. About $26,000 including dest is about the lowest I have seen. |
