Hello, I live in Parsippany, NJ and looking for the best deal on the EXL with Nav and RES. I can travel to NY or PA. I looked at the posts and have seen probably around 30K+ including Dest. Has anyone had a good deal? I need to see a dealer by next week and finalize everything. |

| I'm getting mixed messages about current financing incentives for the Ody. I know Honda was running 3.9% APR/60 months special through Jan and Feb. I thought it was running through March as well, but now I found out that its only effective in certain states? Is this true? What gives people! | |

Crown Honda at Southpoint, $27,500 + TTF, OTD = $28,797 Was looking to buy in 2-3 weeks but was told financing offer would end this month. Had a '99 Corolla that I wanted to sell before buying this car, but was low-balled by Crown. They offered me $3200 for a 99 Corolla LE with 70k miles, clean title, original owner. The car is such a beaut, it hasn't even stalled once in 8 years, come rain or shine Overall, pleasant experience if you know what you are in for. Sales person was very friendly and cordial - which is about par for anyone that is in a customer-facing job (like myself, even). But then having dealt with at least one uber-slimy character previously (355 Toyota of Rockville, MD), I'll take any half-civil car salesman I can get

| ...APR was 3.9% for 60 months. I made a 10k downpayment, but the APR and sale price were regardless of the downpayment. | |

Replying to: mkz71 (Mar 19, 2007 12:57 pm) Price before options was $34,782. Price of the options quoted originally was as follows (from Castle Honda & O'Hare Honda): iPod Connector - $331 & $343 Moonroof Visor - $$168 & $181 3rd Row Sunshades - $303 & $305 Mud Guards - $109 & $142 Having said that I negotiated a final price of $35,699 with the options. The iPod Connector is just that, it does not allow you to obtain info like playlists or title of song on the Navi screen. I have not got the Extended Warranty as I have had an Odyssey since 1999 and very little trouble with that car. |

Looking to lease an EXL w/ DVD in Philadelphia area- 36 mos., prefer 15000 mis - zero down. The best I've been offered is $462/mo, but this was for 12K, not 15K miles. Does this seem right for this area? Money factor is .00158 and residual was $18,300. Thanks for any insights. |

I'm curious as to whether I can get the 3.9% financing special. The Honda website did allow me to print out a certificate, but I've had several dealers tell me it wasn't available. I'm not going to take their word, just curious

So my wife and I wanted a mini van, We looked at the toyota and honda. Based on the features we wanted we were looking at the toyota limited or honda touring. After driving both in a test drive, we both liked the honda over the toyota as we like the "handing" of the honda better, it drives like a car instead of a boat So we did the above normal purchasing methods and get a Internet quote from many local dealers for both toyota and honda. The toyota dealers in our area (midwest) were pretty sad to deal with online as it took 3 or 4 emails just to get the model we wanted and even then in our area stock was VERY limited, not to mention we could not get the model we wanted with the features as "Pkg #? is not available in your area" The honda dealers seemed to have plenty of all models which I think helped us in the end. Now to the good stuff. We went to one dealer and got Internet quotes from several others, the one dealer we went to was just not budging, they were at invoice and WAY to low for our trade-in and didnt seem interested in making the deal. So the next week we took the lowest internet quote we got and took it to the original dealer we bought our Honda accord with only 50k in miles and started the "bidding" They instantly matched the other guys price which was under invoice at 35175 which we thought was pretty good. but, they low balled us on the trade in by offering us 3 grand less then what the car is being sold , not the trade in price ,but sold for. After several rounds of go talk to the manager, the manager came out to close the deal. The final offer was Honda odyssey 2007 touring dvd and nav $34214 and a 9000 trade in on our car. This seems to be the lowest price we found talked about here ,however this does include the money maker for the dealer which is the trade-in. So even though they were REALLY under invoice by 1600 dollars, we might have been able to get more for the car selling it direct ,but they they most likely would not have offered the price on the van. So it just seems a very fine balance between how far below invoice, the trade in and how close it is to the end of the month! hope this helps others find the right price.
