whats the best deal on an 07 honda odyssey? by kurman

Hello there,
this is my 1st post. I am interested in getting a 2007 honda odyssey in my area of Savannah, GA. Has anyone recently purchased one and what was the best deal they got?

I am also a bit undecided on the EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Rear Entertainment or the EX-L 4dr Minivan w/Nav, Rear Entertainment. I guess whichever is best deal.

I have read on the posts that the maps on the Nav. system are not updated and are fairly old compared to the portable GPS units like the Garmin, which are recently updated and easy to operate. The only reason I seem interested in the Honda Nav. system is because it has a back up camera. Does anybody know if honda is offers a back up camera as an accessory or an option without getting the Nav. system. Please Help!!! thanks.

Costco had a wireless back up camera that was very, very reasonable. I posted about it earlier somewhere on the Odyssey forum.

Odyssey Special Financing - Indiana by joncarter

I am in the market for an Odyssey EX-L with DVD. I received a price quote from a dealer in Illinois and was told there was 3.9% financing for 60 months available. When the salesman found out I lived in Indiana, they could not honor the financing because I lived in Indiana. Apparently there are 32 states Honda is offering the special financing and 18 they are not. I was very bummed out and my local dealer has not been able to help me either. It's really made me upset with Honda. I have 100% outstanding credit and am a loyal buyer of Honda's for 12+ years. I am currently on my forth Honda and looking to buy my fifth. Does anyone have any advice for me?

FYI - Best price in the Houston area is Sterling McCall in Kingwood. All Odysseys are $850 below invoice. An '07 EX-L Res is $29,350 +ttl, so an '07 EX-L Nav&Res should be around $31,350 +ttl. Russell & Smith was about $250 more, but they have a better selection in inventory.

Hello,
I live in Parsippany, NJ and looking for the best deal on the EXL with Nav and RES. I can travel to NY or PA. I looked at the posts and have seen probably around 30K+ including Dest. Has anyone had a good deal? I need to see a dealer by next week and finalize everything.

financing incentives...yes or no? by mabaza

I'm getting mixed messages about current financing incentives for the Ody. I know Honda was running 3.9% APR/60 months special through Jan and Feb. I thought it was running through March as well, but now I found out that its only effective in certain states? Is this true? What gives people!

NC Triangle Area 2007 EX-L $28,797 OTD by athithi

Crown Honda at Southpoint, $27,500 + TTF, OTD = $28,797

Was looking to buy in 2-3 weeks but was told financing offer would end this month. Had a '99 Corolla that I wanted to sell before buying this car, but was low-balled by Crown. They offered me $3200 for a 99 Corolla LE with 70k miles, clean title, original owner. The car is such a beaut, it hasn't even stalled once in 8 years, come rain or shine Original quote for the Odyssey was 27,900. I was ready to walk out since they made me come in 2 weeks earlier than I had planned and had given me such a crappy offer on the trade-in (KBB for trade-in was around 4500 for good condition - their offer was lower than fair condition). This is my 3rd vehicle, all of them new and probably the quickest buy - almost disappointing that I didn't get them to pull their hair out I was gypped on the Corolla - my first car - so went in with a vengeance for my Accord (both 1999) and darn, that was satisfying

Overall, pleasant experience if you know what you are in for. Sales person was very friendly and cordial - which is about par for anyone that is in a customer-facing job (like myself, even). But then having dealt with at least one uber-slimy character previously (355 Toyota of Rockville, MD), I'll take any half-civil car salesman I can get

  geez, these emoticons are cheesy!
