What's included for the $895? I asked for the package here and got the mud-guards, fender-well trim, door-edge guards, and wheel locks. And a tub-liner tray for the cavity where the third-row bench seat folds down into. They charged $398. |

| I have the wind deflector on my white van. It looks like smoke black, but when you look carefully it is does have a greenish tint. You can find it at Handaaccessories.com for much cheaper than the dealer charges too. | |

Netbid99, which KY dealers did you contact? Alton Blakely offered $500 off MSRP, no options...any others that you contacted? I am from KY originally so making a trip up there may make sense (see the family at the same time). Prophet2, I think the $895 dealer package included all that you mentioned plus pin striping. I estimate $250 in direct parts cost plus a few hours of labor. Not a bad margin for the dealership. Given the demand for the ODY in Atlanta, they appear to be selling the package without much complaint. |

| I guess I didn't do so badly giving my dealer a little more on his bottom line. I wonder what kind of pinstriping "art" I can get for another $497 ........... :>) | |

Patel: Have you found your Odyssey in Bay area? |

| When I was shopping for our Odyssey in January all the dealers in the Atlanta metro area were adding the $895 (additional dealer mark-up). Bought our Odyssey from Alton Blakley in Sommerset, KY for $1000 below MSRP ($25,840). However, I understand that they are now only discounting to $500 below MSRP. You would still save $1400 for a day's drive. They are good folks and I would highly recommend. | |

Hi, Everyone I am shopping for a Honda Ody. + Nav in the Bay area. I checked both Oakland Honda and San Leandro Honda, all want MSRP + $1000. Anyone has recently Ody. purchase experience in the SF Bay area? Is it a good deal? Anywhere I can find a dealer who is willing to sell at MSRP? Thanks HT |

DOES ANYONE HAVE ADVICE ON GETTING A GOOD PRICE ON LONG ISLAND? I CAN GET MSRP BUT WITH A 2-6 MONTH WAIT. DOES ANYBODY SEE A PROBLEM WITH LEAVING A DEPOSIT FOR {A WAITING LIST} WITH MULTIPLE DEALERS, THEN GOING WITH THE ONE THAT DELIVERS FIRST. HAS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH GETTING YOUR DEPOSIT BACK FROM THE LOSING DEALER? |
