If they are both equally good then the price will be the deciding factor. I am still going to do the due deligence and look at the Toyota Siena and the Kia Sedona before I make the final decision. You never know what you may find... |

Has anyone on this forum done a analysis of all the 3 minivans 2006 models and then taken a decision. Your inputs will be valuable to my search.... Thanks in advance... |

I am just amazed that some of you are getting your vehicles at such great prices. They just seem too good to be true. Even with the dealer holdbacks, it does not appear the dealers are making any profit. I am in the market for an EXL w/ Nav & Res, I will give these midwest dealers a try. But the devil's advocate in me is questioning the legitimacy of some of these deals.

Replying to: samba2 (Feb 08, 2006 7:33 am) i bought mine in louisville,ky. on dec.31, does the 23.9k price you have include all fees except for taxes? my price of 24k included all fees and a protection package including mud guards, trim, cargo liner and other dealer installed extras...if so then it is probably a pretty good deal, i don't really know if you can do much better price wise, although if the van you're looking at doesn't include the dealer extras, you might be able to get some of them for no extra charge...

Where in Louisville did you buy yours from. I am only 70 miles from Louisville. Earlier in the forum there was a person who brought a EX from Louisville KY Sam Swope Honda --> EX 25,500 May be Sam Swope Honda is the next Crystal Lake or Mike Purit or the Midwest...

A friend of mine mentioned that the Odyssey & Siena prices are slowly coming down after the launch of the new Kia Sedona. Kia dealers are going agressive and pricing the new van below invoice and the Honda & Toyota dealers are competing and trying to keep customers from buying Kia's Does anyone know about this trend... |

Replying to: rcheng99 (Feb 08, 2006 7:42 am) I too was amazed at the prices...I got the bill of sales and the VIN number clearly states that the vehicle is EXL with NAV/RES. I received several quotes in the same price ranges, but only went with those that has a good reputation such as Crystal Lake and Mike Pruitt. I should receive my Silver Odyssey Saturday or Sunday, with only 7 miles on it. As for dealer holdback, the salesman from Mike Pruitt stated that their cost with holdback is $30,5xx. That is why they can offer those prices. My salesman will make about $200, which is reasonable. It is definitely about supply/demand. In VA/MD/DC, the demand for that model is great and people are paying premium price for it...it the midwest, the demand is lower and the dealer is willing to move those harder to sell(more expensive) models quicker. I do get a quote of 300 above invoice, but not the color I want. DC area. For some dealer in OH, PA, NJ area, several hundreds under invoice is possible based on the discuss before. |
