With the foglights and subwoofer the price of the car seems to be below invoice. I'd agree with allyg on this one. Better check it out before you take the plunge. Are you sure it is a 2006 model year and not a '05 demo model?   Regards, Ildar

Replying to: humbleabode (Oct 20, 2005 12:43 pm) I had a superb buying experience and got a great price on our '06 Touring R&N (less than halfway between MSRP and invoice) in mid-Sep at Hennessey Honda in Woodstock, GA just N of Etlana, you can call them at (***) ***-****. I highly recommend dealing with the ISM's there. I was able to get some options (deflectors, shades, etc.) at dealer cost but paid for install at delivery. Gwinnett (Auto Mall o'GA) had good potential but were too busy to respond in a timely manner to e-mail quotes, kept wanting to use the phone and definitely weren't good at forecasting inbounds like Henn'y was. Ask for *** or ***** and tell them **** ********* sent you, L*L.   What amazes me about car salespeople is that even if you tell them when they call you back a month later as follow up that you bought a vehicle a month ago, they call you in a week or another month to see if you still want to buy. I guess any lead is a good one even if they're now Ody owners. Listen closely salespeople, if they just bought a car (especially elsewhere), throw the customer contact info away! I'm glad other businesses don't work this way, picture this... "Hello, Mr. Smith, are you still in the market for an '06 heart? Oh, OK, you already got a transplant, well come on down anyway, have we got a deal for you!"

I definitely want to buy the EX-L (w/o NAV and DVD), but I'm absolutely terrified. This will be my first new car purchase ever, and I obviously want to get a great deal. What should I do?
