You might have better luck with an answer, if you post your question here:

Emil,

I honestly do not know. There was some mention of the promotion on either a delear web site or the American Honda Care web site. I asked the F & I guy at the dealer if it was offered and he said "yes". I think the two major Honda Care online dealers do not offer the 0% option.

I ended up buying it from Huntington Honda on Long Island, The final deal was 31,300 with addition of Fog lights which I really wanted and valued at 600 installed. So for me I got what I thought was a fair deal. I really was hoping I could get the Odyssey for less but I really pushed 3 dealers hard and this is the best i could come up with. I drove to Wood Trim, Inc in Brooklyn yesterday and purchased a complete 46 piece wood trim kit. Really nice, the dealer wanted $850 for it and I got it for about $150. It is the same one that they have in the showroom. I bought many other accessories online through EBAY. I will pick it up tomorrow. I think that if they won't go below 31,000 you should have them throw something you want in.

Good experience with Classic Honda on Touring by enkur

We had a great buying experience at Classic Honda in Round Rock near Austin, TX.
I woke up all set to go buy a new Nissan Quest with all options but somehow did little more work and decided to see how well the Honda stacks up. Boy what a surprise. We first went to Honda and absolutely loved the Odyssey. The dealer gave us a great price and finally told them that I needed to see the Quest and will evaluate at that time. The dealer did not push at all and respected our opinion.

We went to Nissan and I was thoroughly disappointed with the Quest. The van had a very "plasticy" feel to it and my wife absolutely hated the design on the center console. She said that in the pictures and the commercial it looks very nice but in person it just didnt work. We politely declined to the NIssan dealer and they were also nice about not pushing.

We went back to the Honda delear and they were able to locate one with Nav and DVD for us that was going to be delivered in San Marcos but would try to have it delivered in Round Rock instead. The next day we got the call that the car is in and we can come by and take a look at it. The car had 118 miles as it was driven down from San Marcos! We renegotiated the price as we didnt like that fact that they drove it down from San Marcos and had over 100 miles most new cars have like 20-40 miles. I had bought my new 4Runner with 8 miles and 4 of them were when I took it for a test drive.
Finally we got a deal on the 2006 Odyssey Touring with Rear DVD and Navigation for $37200. They were also able to get us a great interest rate considering my credit is not over 700. I got 6.75% with $3000 down. The final breakdown was

$37200 Odyssey
$600 for Wood trim and Cargo bay
$2094.37 TTL
-------------
$39894.37 OTD
I also got
$10900 for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner with 74100 miles which was $400 more than KBB.

Overall it was a great experiene and worked with us well. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Austin area. Absolutely avoid First Texas ... I came across some people at our church who described them as very discriminating.

We love our Van and looking forward to some fun rides across this great country.

I just got my Ody yesterday in NC from Goldsboro Honda. I paid $32,580.
I got a white EX-L with Navigation and Entertainment for $32,174 which included destination of $550. Plus pinstripe which was on it and mud flaps = $107 and $298 Doc fee which was high but I could live with it. There was $1.00 for something but I don't remember off the top of my head. I feel this was a very fair deal. I showed them my internet offer and asked them to match it. I did not have to pay local tax as the car will be registered in Alaska my hubby is in the military and this is our home of record. I got 4.9% financing This is my first Honda

Daytime running lights do not exist on the 05 Odyssey, they were just added this year for the first time!

The trick with Daytime running lights is there is no way to manually turn them off or on...in the daytime you take the van out of park..and the DRL's activate.

jerryb1:

That is a great price. Considering that the invoice with destination is $31,673 without the added stuff. If it is in So. Cal. makes in better. I would be careful and check all the details. Good luck.

Thanks, what should I be careful about and what kind of details might be funny business that i should look out for.

Also should I keep putting dealers up to try and keep dropping the price?
