wingsneck95--did you also get any salvage money for your cash for clunkers car? I read online that the dealer is also supposed to give you the "scrap value" for you vehicle--whatever that is. Also surprised you were able to cash in already--my dealer told me the gov is not rolling this out until 7/24 or possibly later. I have a '98 Jeep that I want to cash in and hoping the dealer will give me the $3500.

Thanks! I emailed them for a price quote and got a call back very soon. We might go there to take a look during this weekend.

Thanks again!

gasser1,
thanks for your post, very informative.
This was the first time I've seen that the Sienna costs more to insure than the Odyssey. I'm guessing that it's due to the crash test results.

The lock out feature on the NAV is a real bummer. Nissan/Infiniti does the same thing. They should have an override feature or a sensor in the passenger seat.

I have an 05 Odyssey Touring and have been fairly satisfied with the exception of: PAX run flat tires, the brakes, road noise/suspension, fuel efficiency.

The PAX and the brakes have been discussed ad nauseum on this site so I want pile on there, but I really thought the fuel efficiency would be better with the adjustable cylinder engine (don't recall the technical name but our version shuts down half the cylinders under certain situations to save gas). I think we're averaging around 18 - 19 mpg, mostly city miles.

BTW: i just checked on insurance rates with USAA and there really wasn't much of a difference. I checked on a 2010 Sienna Limited and 2010 Odyssey Touring and the monthly difference was only a dollar between the two. So if you haven't purchased one yet and you're trying to make a decision, check with your insurance company first since it looks like the premiums may vary widely from one company to another.

I would like to purchase a Sienna LE with EV Package #2 and floor mats. I'm in northern VA and have been in contact with several dealers. The best number I have had is a base price $25970 plus tags, taxes and title.. The price does include destination charges.

I feel like I can be doing better, but cannot seem to make any head way... What do you think?

Looking at Sienna LE Package #2 - Central PA by psumommyof2

I have 2 lease payments remaining on my 07 Honda Odyssey. I am interested in getting the 2010 Sienna. I would really like to get into a new van sooner, but am not sure how a dealer works with the lease and the 2 payments remaining? Any ideas?

I test drove the LE today with option 2, loved it so much more than my current Odyssey. The saleslady said that they could go much lower than the price listed on the sticker which was $28,190. What would be a fair price for this van?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi

We are interest in purchasing a 2009 Sienna LE with the QP package. We live in Central new Jersey ( East Brunswick / Edison area.
1. Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with any dealers in that area
2. what should we expect to pay?
Does it pay to wait for the 2010 models - what upgrades are there and what would i expect to pay vs the 2009

thanks in advance

Don't know about CO, but in SW OH some dealers will take $2500 to $3000 off 2010 MSRP when internet buying. Inventory very sparse on Siennas here.
