I bought a used SUV from Wilde Toyota and had the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. The car had a smell from the previous owners (smells like puke or milk gone bad) and they said they could remove the smell to our satisfaction by cleaning it. They cleaned it four times and the smell is still there. It is 6 months later. The smell was so bad at one point that we stopped driving the car for two months. They have since attempted to clean the carpet again (if it didn't work the first 4 times-it's not going to work on number 5). They continue to say they will do anything including have a salesman call me but he has never called. I have had this problem for 6 months and they refuse to do what is necessary to rectify the situation. Obviously it will cost them money. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years, but the continued run-around they have given me and now that they have completely stopped returning my calls ensures that I will never buy another car there ever again. I would not recommend anyone buying a used car at Wilde Toyota. Now I am stuck with a car that still smells and the prospect of having to sell it and find a new one. What a nightmare. |

| Hi...I just purchased an XLE in MA, MSRP: $31,390 for $27,200 (this does not include $100 for plate transfer , $300 doc fee or the mass 5% sales tax). I will be getting an additional $3500 off for my cash for clunker car. How does this deal sound? THX | |

Replying to: dsmguy (Jul 14, 2009 9:09 am) I simply looked at some historical prices pd: http://www.carbuyingtips.com/cardeals/toyota.htm , knew there were some manufacturer incentives out there and asked a few of the local dealers to give me a best price. I knew when I had two quotes in the same ballpark that this price was achievable. I was going to wait until next year but the Toyota incentives are good through Aug 3, MA sales tax goes up from 5% to 6.25% Aug 1 and Uncle Sam will give me $3500 for my old SUV that's probably worth $1000 tops (I love my Uncle). Too many things breaking the right way not to pull the trigger. |

| I'm probably gonna look at a 09 LE tomorrow. The dealer specs show: Invoice date 10/08/08 and Ship date 10/08/08. Does it mean it has been on their lot for almost a year? If so, shall I assume that it has some problem, or it's just normal in dealerships? | |
| I got a quote of 24,678 for a 09 le evp#2 is that a good price in ohio.If any1 near cleveland got a better deal let me know. | |

Replying to: alan6499 (Jul 16, 2009 5:20 pm) I have just started looking at Siennas. I have gotten 4 quotes so far on 2010 XLEs and all have been discounted approximately $3000. That for an '10 model. SW OH. I am finding very few Toyota vans in inventory. Origionally was shopping for Odyssey. At one time they were 6K off MSRP, but incentives ended earlier this month.
