The dealers I talked to told me the 2011 will be redesigned, the 2010 will be basically the same. You can even google it and there are a few articles about it, although it doesn't seem like its going to be that much different, just more options available. As for incentives on 09s, I don't know how much more they are going to offer since they have cut production on the 09s and there aren't that many left anyway (as my earlier post I couldn't find a XLE within 500 miles of me)

I just bought a 2009 XLE AWD Lmtd w/package #2 (nav and rear entertainment) for 35500 (only 4500 more than the prices we saw for the XLE) + taxes + tags. I am unhappy with the run flat tires, NAV system limitations, and lack of XM radio. It has ~1500 miles on it now (had 1100 when purchased). I wish I had done more research on the tires and the NAV system before I bought. There are only two options for all weather tires and both are rated poorly compared to most all weather tires. I think I notice that they do not ride as nicely as our old 1998 Chrysler T&C with Michelins. There are a large number of complaints of poor durability and replacing a tire can be a major hassle. As for the NAV, most of the NAV system features are disabled while the vehicle is in motion but if you are driving alone you are more safe to not use the NAV system. Unfortunately, if you have a passenger they can't do searches for restaurants. The voice control commands do not cover these functions. If you want XM Radio, satellite capable does not mean you have a XM radio. It cost another $500 for that option. It seems like this should cost Toyota about $100 more to include. Honda's higher end Oddysseys both come with XM radio by default.

I am hopeful that my experience with the tires will not be the same as the people who have had problems. I may just be seeing the worst of experiences posted. I have found ways around the NAV limitations and the XM radio was not a "must-have" feature. I still believe the Sienna is a great vehicle. However, had I known about the run flat tire problems, I would have waited and bought a 2010 Sienna XLE Package #3 FWD.

If you can get by with the FWD, I would recommend you avoid the AWD and run flats.

saw so many stories but still a little confused since there are several different options. if the dealer offer a price = invoice price (base price and option price) + tax and document fee, will it be a reasonable price (no matter what are the options)

or should I offer the dealer a price $1,000 lower than the invoice price found at Edmunds?

thanks.

Run flats suck on any vehicle. Just get them replaced with a nice set of Michelins next time around - the current ones will wear out soon enough.

Just purchased a Sienna XLE with Package#3, Fog lamp, 17" alloy, Sonar, XM sat radio, and JBL for 30,200.00 + TTL + 0% financing for 36 months. We purchased it out of state, we will have to do our Tax, Title and License ourselves, in Minnesota. We purchased it from Crown Toyota Lawrence Kansas.

At this time Holmes Honda(Des Moines) is offering some good deals on Odyssey EX for around 23,100 and EX-L with RES for 28,400 OTD does not include TTL. They are including mud guard and clear coat paint protection in the price.

No, you should never be spoken down to, and that alone is grounds to walk out on the deal.

How will they take care of you when you have a problem if they're treating you like this when they are trying to convince you to spend money on them?

Still, I think that any expectation that a dealer eat the $3-400 in unwanted options is a bit much for the customer to demand.

2010 XLE's by robcom

I am trying to buy a 2010 XLE with EVP#3 and other options. I am very particular on ext and int colors. I have been in contact with several dealers within 50 miles of my location (philadelphia, pa) none of them seem willing to deal at invoice price. Is there anything I can do to get them to offer me invoice pricing? I started to make my offers at 2% above edmunds invoice pricing and those who claim they can get the vehicle I want still will not budge, they all seem to be in the range of 1500-2500 over invoice.

Any advice?

I am looking to buy within the month but will wait if it means getting the vehicle w/ options I want at a fair price. Should I start to pursue our second choice (Odyssey)?
