2009 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited by hwyranger

Just purchase yesterday and thought I would share my deal as this forum has helped with my last two vehicle purchases, all done through the internet. Knowledge really is power.....

2009 Toyota Sienna XLE FWD 7 Pass Limited
- silver shadow pearl w/ stone interior.
- dynamic laser cruise control
- XLE limited EVP #2 (rear DVD, Nav., JBL)
- daytime running lights
- power folding third row seats
- towing prep
- carpet floor mats/door sill protector
- rear spoiler

MSRP - $40,285

I paid $500 under invoice $35,465.00. Add southern Ca. sales tax, license fees, other misc. fees for a total of $38,628.55. Subtract the $1500.00 cash rebate. Total financed $37,128.55

* Just on a side note....Toyota has completely shut down production for a short time (economy) so what's on the lot is what the dealers have and won't be getting anything new for a while. I wanted to wait a month or two because I figure the incentives are only going to get sweeter but my soon to be born twin baby's forced me to pull the trigger. Still think I got a pretty good deal and so far really like the van.

2009 Sienna XLE LTD AWD Demo 3800 miles by bmhaycraft

Dealer says this vehicle belonged to the second top executive of Toyota and had been driving it around the country and then decided to fly home from Louisville, KY and left it for the dealership to sell. It has just over 3800 miles on it.
AWD, 3.5-Liter V6, Limited 7-passenger, 5-Speed Automatic $37,865
Limited Extra Value Pkg 2 with Options View Details $3,132
Exterior:Black Interior:Taupe Leather
Running boards [24] (RB) $599 Rear spoiler [24] (RF) $485
Wheel locks (alloy) [24] (WL) $67 Mudguard [24] (DI03) $73

Dealer said the sticker was 43,126 he then said he would sell it to me for 40,500 then we went around again and came up with 38,750 (41,934 out the door) I still feel this doesn't really take into account that it has 3800 plus miles on the vehicle. My wife and I left at this point because it was getting to be 9 o'clock and my daughter was melting as we continued to speak. Also, my wife hates black and we hate, hate, hate the running boards and would never get them. But in the end if we could get a really good deal we might look the other way on the color and then take the running boards off. What do you guys think. Thanks

He is only knocking off about $2,000 for the car being used. I had an offer for the same car, but new, for $40,800. My advice is to find the car you really want. The deals are out there.

Yes I was thinking the price should be at least 10%-15% off the invoice and subtract the running boards off completely because as I said we hate them and that van sits low enough you don't need them and all you do is end up hitting your shins on them and getting your pant legs dirty.

Also:

How are the running boards attached? When they are removed, are there holes remaining that were drilled into the body?

I think you should be able to do 35-36k range on a new one without miles. 3880miles=demo
