Thanks

I'm being offered a fully loaded Sienna XLE Ltd AWD w/ 4800 miles for $32K according to the dealer it was driven by one of the managers and not used for test drives.
I also have an offer (from a different dealer ) for a brand new 2009 (same specs) for $3000 more. is $3000 enough to make you take a demo vehicle ?

Depends on the condition of the used vehicle. Did the sales manager take excellent care of it? Look at it washed for any blemishes. If it is mint, it may be worth it but usually a vehicle loses a lot more than 3K in value as soon as it's driven off of the lot.

Otherwise, the 35,000 for a truly fully loaded Limited is an excellent deal. Well below invoice and likely not really making any money for the dealer. Is it an off color? Is the offer good for any Limited with the same specs or just a specific car? If they are only making the offer for a specific car on their lot, I would be very suspicious.

Also, check out pricing on a fully loaded XLE. I saved $6000 by forgoing the AWD, auto on wipers, memory seats, laser cruise, and the "Limited" tag. Decide if these options are really worth $6K to you and read some reviews online of the AWD with the run flat tires (the car has no spare).

quote "driven by manager" is a pure lie. How are you going to prove this?
This is a demo, and the discount should be much bigger.

That's exactly what my thoughts were, they try to pass the "DEMO" as a new car (because it hasn't been titled) but as far as I 'm concerned it is a "used" low millage car and its price should reflect it.
The NEW 2009 LTD AWD includes package #2 DVD, NAV, etc ( I guess not truly fully loaded as it doesn't have the laser cruise and HID lights) and the 35K includes the current 1K rebate but overall I think its a decent price.
Thanks for you help

The 10% off actually seems fair to me, it's just 4800 miles.

Still, it was more likely used as a shuttle bus to get service customers back and forth to the nearest public transportation.

I doubt they'd use a minivan as a manager's car. Think about it.

There are about 3-4 sienna's with your options + laser + HID listed at different dealer around me with internet prices at 34800 to 35200 listed on their website.
Mind you, I have NOT set foot in any dealership recently.

Friends in upstate NY with demo and your options+laser + HID with 9k paid 29.5k, blizzard white

Hi,

I have enjoyed this forum for two Seinna purchases and thought I would post my deal even if it isn't the greatest around. All of me communications were via e-mail and were fairly fast.

I bought the Sienna 09 XLE w/ Package #3 with
Blizzard Pearl:
FE= 50 State Emissions
AW= Alloy Wheels
LF= Fog Lamps
PC= Pearl Color
QJ=XLE EVP #3
WO=Sonar Back up
RB= Running Boards
WL= Wheel Locks
CF= Floor Mats/Door Sill Protector

I paid $31,092 then subtract the rebate $912 ($1000 - NY tax) = $30,180. I live in NY but bought in Erie, PA because PA has a rebate this month and NY does not.
