Yes - I believe the following factors influenced their aggressive pricing
1. sales target numbers for month and opening weekend
2. working out processes in new facility
3. slow car sales
4. slower van sales

20 Months ago I purchased a 2006 CE for $23,700 including destination. It was at 0%. In the Seattle area. That was a 2006, and a CE. It was a good price. I traded it 3 weeks ago at 36,000 miles, and it is missed!. The prices you are questioning are fabulous for that much vehicle. My God, Toyota is bound and determined to run everybody (except maybe Hyundai) out of business. Prices like that will do it. Good luck and congratulations to you and all buying optioned Sienna LE's at these prices, you are getting a great vehicle. Enjoy!

I get the feeling that Toyota will offee better rebates in July on the Sienna? What do people here think? At least they should extend the 1500 dollar rebate..I was quoted at 23879 for an LE with alloy wheels/evp#2 and rl at a new york dealer. Seemed like an ok deal. He tried to tell me that all their Siennas would be gone this weekend..find that hard to believe. I am waiting until July for bette deals..suspect I will be correct.

If you look at 355's e-price, it's about $23000 (including $1500 rebate) - $500 promotion off (valid until 6/30) for the same one with yours at NY.

Where or who is 355? The problem is that I am Canadian and very few dealers will sell directly to me. The one in New York is one of the few I have found..I will never get as good a deal as an American as the dealers know I dont have too many options. I am hoping that maybe Toyota will offer a higher rebate in July..at least continue the 1500 rebate..we will see.

They know you got lots of US dollars trading Loonies as you come across the border. While you can get a big price reduction buying in the US, I'm pretty sure you also lose the warranty coverage on the US spec van taking it into Canada.

No the warranty is good in both Canada and the USA. However with Honda and some other manufacturers the warranty is not valid in Canada.

I know that none of the domestic brands or, as you mention, Honda will cover cars going either direction on the border. Pleasantly surprising to hear that Toyota will.
This whole US$ devaluation is a real boon to you guys on things you can jump across the border to get or order online. I have two brothers in B.C. that I joke with about getting loans for gas money.
