| Just put down $1,000 for an LE 8 passenger with BZ package for $25,770, in Nassau County in NY. However I only realized when I got home that they added on this “Administrative Fee” for $374 (my fault for not noticing before I walked out). This fee is already typed into the carbon paper, as if it’s standard/required. Anybody have experience of having them waive this, or will they not budge on it? | |

Replying to: buildersboy (Nov 24, 2006 8:20 pm) I bought 2006 Sienna LE with #2 option + CF (carpet) at $850 below invoice plus $2,000 rebate in Indianapolis. After I bought a car from that dealer, 2 of my friends bought from the same dealer. They also gave me $50 referal bonus after my friend's purchase. If you need more information, let me know your email. Thanks.

The damned things are built in Indiana and you can order one to your specs. Sienna invoices (and option packages) are confusing. One of the problems is that they always include advertising fees. Though legitimate, they vary by region and are never included in Edmunds' (or other price guides). |

| My buying experience went from good to bad. Here is our problem. We purchased a new 2006 Toyota Sienna Limited van. With in six months I have cracked and peeling paint on the hood and the rear hatch. The van also has several large chips in the hood. I showed the van to the Toyota rep and he said the places on the hood are stone chips and not covered by warranty. I asked about the spot on the hood where the paint is cracked and he said that is also from a stone. The paint is popping off this van in more places than all other cars that I have owned combined. When I showed him the 3" long crack in the paint on the rear hatch the rep said I probably did it opening and closing the rear hatch. I informed him that the van has a power rear hatch and that is how we open the door 99% of the time. He offered to repaint the spot on the rear hatch but nothing for the places on the hood. I asked him who I can talk to above him and he told me that there is no one above him. I called the home office in California and filed a complaint, but the home office said I had to go through a dealer and a Toyota rep. The home office said that I do not have any recourse other than this. I will never buy another Toyota if this is how they treat their customers. The dealership where I purchased the van from is Gary Force Toyota in Bowling Green Kentucky. If anybody doubts that the damage is a factory defect, reply to this message and I will email you pictures of the van. Also does anybody else have paint issues with their van. I see a lot of complaints about the paint chipping so much that I think Toyota has a paint adhesion or paint prep problem and I am wondering if there is enough of a problem for a class action law suit. | |

Hey Guys..kinda new to the forum. I just purchased my new Sienna yesterday...Love it! For a long time I was hooked on the Odyssey but couldn't resist the 0% interest rate. For a while, I was getting so many quotes, (ridiculous ones) for the Odyssey..these people won't budge. We made out with the Sienna, totally loaded, everything in it you can imagine we have it. I love it, I never thought I would go for the Sienna, but it's a smooth ride and very luxurious, far more than the Odyssey. I love the wood grain. I just hope that I don't have any surprises later on, but so far so good. I'd appreciate if anyone would post their experiences (good or bad), just so I know. Thanks..
