Also included the $ 214 optional carpeted floor mats listed on the window sticker. MSRP $ 25,130 + LE Pkg # 2 $1,040 and CF Carpeted Floor Mats $ 214 and $ 565 Delivery for bottom line $ 26,949.
Edmund's does NOT include the factory $214 Carpeted Floor Mats option but gives TMV for the LE 7 w/pkg # 2 as $ 25,591. My friend paid $ 25,698 + Doc Fee, Utah Tire Recycle Tax $ 5, License and Registration Fee of $ 39, and Utah $ 150 Fee in lieu of property tax + Utah 6.6 % Sales tax. (He paid $ 107 for the $ 214 factory option and got the rest for TMV).
Based on my understanding, non-residents of Utah do NOT have to pay Utah Sales Tax if not used or licensed in Utah. I do not know about the $ 150 fee, etc.

He got it at Mark Miller Toyota Salt Lake City, UT 84101 from a regular salesman with NO haggling. He simply asked the salesman for their best price. Mark Miller additional Doc Fee of $ 239 is one of the lowest in the Salt Lake City area...altho higher than many parts of the USA.

You may be able to get a better price closer to your home....but knowing names and addresses can help you negotiate with your dealer.

If you want the salesman's name, write me at my address in Edmund's profile.

06 LE with package #4 (BZ) in NJ by neeedvan

Just clicked the deal for 2006 LE with package #4 (BZ) slate metallic for 26.1k less $500 rebate making it $25.6k. It came with few added option (Floor Carpet, Door Sill Protector, Decor Package (God know what it is), Hood Protector, Echo Master) some which I didn't want.

I didn't like the fact that I'd to pay the sales tax on full price including the rebate and there was $199 documentation fee which I was told it standard in entire NJ.

Can anyone confirm the doc. fees?

Overall, this site was extremely useful and helpful. I went to this dealership and came back 3 times earlier but I stuck to my offer based on reviews on this site and it finally clicked. Thanks all posters for your help.

Neeedvan,

What is $500 rebate? Is it 7 or 8 passenger?

I'm told by a dealer that invoice price on LE 8 passenger Package #4 (BZ) is $26204.
Edmunds.com shows $25,175. I wanted package #3 but he could only find Package #4.
He's willing to sell $300 over invoice + $125 documentation fee.

Also, he said, the difference between BZ for 7 and BZ for 8 passenger is that 8 passenger have three row side curtain bags extra. I think he's wrong. Please confirm

Thanks,

Caravan2:
$500 is the rebate from Toyota for 06 Sienna for NJ.
It's 7 psg but I was offered 2005 LE 8 psg with BZ for 24.5k

BZ for 7 or 8 should be same as 8 psg config has a middle seat in the 2nd row which I don't think required any additional side curtain bags.

If you are looking for BW(pkg #3) then I would suggest your best bet is darcars or carmax and in both case you will have to pick up the car from DC/MD area but their prices are the best I've seen.

Hey, just wondering if you finally bought a sienna in Tampa Bay. My father is showing up there in 8 days and wants to buy a sienna 05. He is getting off a cruise ship and needs wheels to get home to Washington State, where I want to buy it from him. I thought they would be much cheaper down in Florida, so would you be able to tell me which dealers I should seek out and what price you finally paid if you bought one?
Thanks, Trev

What state are you in? the prices in Tampa seem to be around 26,000. How could they be that different?

Thanks,

Is this rebate only for NJ? Where do I find this information? I can show this to the dealer here and see if he can do something about it.

Do you remember price for BW(#3) from darcars or carmax?

Thanks,

Which Octane level to use? by caravan2

I just looked at a web site that for 2006 Sienna's, they require Octane level of 91. Toyota web site says that they recommend 91 also.

Local dealer says, he never heard of this and use regilar gas with octane of 87.

Gas is expensive now and hate to buy 91?

Any comments????

2006 Sienna owner's manual states 87 octane but use 91 octane for higher performance. My friend has used 85 octane in his new 2006 Sienna in Salt Lake City area with no detectable engine knock and has averaged over 28 MPG with 2 refuelings.

2003 Toyota Sienna for $11000 is it worth it? by molumdayuck

A buddy of my has a car dealership and he just got a trade in on a good deal on this sienna and knew that I need a van. He received a 2003 Sienna CE and want to give it to me for $10,500. It has power windows, locks, roof rack, 2nd row bench, am/fm cd, ac, cruise, radio control on steering wheel and full front air bags, rear a/c control. The only thing I worry about is it has 95,000 miles on it. What do you guys think. I know since this is only a 2 year car, 95000 = alot of highway driving. I ran a car fax against it and realize that the last year, it actually drove over 60,000 miles. 60,000+ miles in one year..........its amazing. Over all the body of the Sienna is pretty good, just a few nicks and scratches, which is normal. Do you guys think I should jump on this or use that money as a down to get a brand new van.
Thanks for any input.
