Taylor quoted me a great price after presenting them with a Internet Quote from "The AutoFinders Inc" - $29,995 2004 LE with package #5. I needed a 2004 LE 8 seater, with leather and alloys. They quoted me $26,500 out-the-door. I went in and signed the papers. They told me they would try to locate and have one for me by Saturday (I went in Friday morning). After I got home looked over the paperwork and noticed they specified a LE with package #3, add leather. Package #3 did not have alloys. They said I could add this for $600.00. I told them I would call them back - put everything on hold. I discovered I could get the package #1 and add alloys (difference in package 1 and 3 was $600.00) I called them back and they agreed. I called Saturday several times, and finally was able to talk to someone about 5PM. Salesman said, sorry been busy today, we will work on it Monday. I began searching the Toyota website for vehicles available, and found one. I emailed the sales manager and my salesman the information. I called them Monday, and they said they would work on it - they would call me back by 3PM (also stated their computer was acting up). Called back around 5PM, and promised a call back that evening. No call. Called Tuesday - asked if they had done anything - no, have not had time. I had done the work for them, I located the vehicle, and the dealer who had it. I finally got tired of this treatment and started my search all over again. I found one at Toyota Center in Columbia, South Carolina. This had more options than I needed, but I needed a vehicle (sold my 03 Expedition). The van was a SE 8 passenger, leather, package 8 (DVD, nice JBL stereo, etc., etc. Dealer claimed best price was $29,177. I thought about it, checked when I could get exactly what I wanted, best price $27,500 (my prices are out-the-door, including sales tax {$300}). I called them back and offered $29,000 - they called back and said come get it. I do not know if Taylor would have ever delivered! I think they would have tried switch and bait! Watch out! |

Please do not post names of individuals or contact info on the boards. That helps avoid shill posts. Dealer names/location is fine to post. Please see the blurb at the top or the Rules of the Road link. Thanks! Steve, Host |

Ask for the GM when you call...saved me a bundle in the past 30 hours. Massey Motor Co. Doc fee alone was less than half the usual ones in the larger markets. Bought a MR Spyder (2001) with 2100 miles at KBB private party value. |

| We decided not to purchase due to a possible move, but I had no trouble getting a couple of dealerships in the the SF Bay Area to agree to $500 over invoice. | |
| Sienna's in the seattle and surrounding area's are hard to come by and the cheapest I have found was a dealer willing to find me one for $1200 over invoice. I wish I could find one for $500 over invoice. I'm willing to pay $1200 and still can't get what I want. Then they low-ball you on your trade-in. | |

Just picked one up from Newbold Toyota (O'Fallon, IL). The dealer went out of his way to locate the exact one we wanted and get it to us in 2 weeks. Gave me a very good price on the trade-in also. Ended up paying $39,354 before trade-in and taxes. He threw in floor mats and 3 years free oil changes. This seems like a good deal.... was it? |

| Well, after all my efforts (see Message # 3827), I am now again searching for a Toyota Sienna. The managers at the above dealership were sarcastic, rude, disparaged other Toyota dealerships, and made the experience so awful, that I simply walked away. It's not surprising that Toyota of Naperville has not received any recognition from Toyota in terms of President's Award or anything else. It's highly unlikely to occur anytime soon given my experience or other's experience (see Message # 3078). Also, they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau in Illinois (unlike most Toyota dealerships), so either they can not be a member, lost their membership, or do not care. Whatever it may be, anyone and everyone should be very careful with them. Now, back to my search. Good luck to everyone else and hopefully, this awful experience does not repeat. | |
wait till the 2005 honda odyssey comes out in July, the price of sienna will drop fast!

| The best I can find around this area, South Central Pa is maybe a $700 reduction from window sticker. I am not a believer that what is being called invoice price really means anything. In addition, I find most sale staffs totally lacking in experience and knowledge of their product. Believe Toyota and Nissan are extremely guilty of hiring very young people who have little or no knowledge of automobiles. Very sad for two companies that once had a great deal of pride. | |
