| Please check out my post about my parents purchase of a 2004 Sienna in Post 3442. That was at Toyota of Greensburg. The other dealer that impressed me was Washington Toyota. Good luck to you. Both of these dealers were decent to deal with. | |
| Just ordered XLE#5 for $29,600 plus tax. What does everyone think? | |

Hi all, I got a sienna xle with option pkg 14 for 500 over invoice. I had to travel 40 miles to a major city such as san jose where at piercey toyota, they move 30 siennas per month. The local dealers in my area wanted msrp. I did not care about dvd, as after market dvd works for me, I also did not care about 17 inch wheels. So, I went for package 14 with four wheel disk brakes, stone leather interior, and stratosphere mica blue. The vehicle had 9 miles on the odometer when I picked it up. I did not get extended warranty, nor the $1200 pre maint package. I could not see paying $1200 for eleven oil changes up to 55k miles in advance. All in all, I emailed directly to 12 toyota dealers asking about price and inventory. I tried edmunds, vehix, and autonation as well, but they all wanted higher pricing than what I ended up getting on my own. The power moonroof is great! |

Hi folks, I've been a long-time, die-hard Honda/Acura loyalist, but the safety features on the Sienna have won me over from my planned Odyssey purchase. (I've already got an '02 TL-S -- I can't bear the thought of having TWO potential transmission timebombs in my driveway!) I have had bad luck price and availability-wise with Austin dealers however. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Texas, OK, ARK, or Louisiana to get an XLE somewhere in the general vacinity of invoice +$500 -- $800. Any suggestions on dealers, maybe in Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio, would be greatly appreciated.

Porcaccio: congratulations on a great buy! Can't wait till I finally get one. Just sold my '96 Grand Caravan and have been looking for new wheels for the last month. I thought I had a deal with a local dealer (Michael's in Bellevue, WA) but even though I gave them a (refundable) deposit, they screwed me and never did order the car not did they tell me until I called them after 3 weeks! Needless to say, I'll never go back there... If it's not against Board Policies (Steve_Host?)would you mind telling us who you dealt with at Toyota Marin? If board does not allow posting of names (I think I saw something about that), would you please email me? (addy in profile) TIA! |
